So after two very good results, we head out on the road to Dario Gradi's Crewe where it is Student Saver Day for anyone with a NUS card but only for the main stand at Gresty Road although the deal does include a bottle of Carlsberg! Crewe have won three and lost three of their last six matches, alternating between a win and a loss and going down 3-1 away to Aldershot last time out. They have only drawn one match so far but with only two wins at home, the majority of their points have come from four wins away from home and ironically average only one point per game on their own ground.
Gradi has been frustrated with some of their recent losses and is considering dipping into the loan market, possibly for a left back and a target-man. Top scorers to watch out for Crewe are Shaun Miller (6) Ajay Leitch-Smith (4) and Byron Moore (4).
I can't see Ling starting with anyone else other than the starting XI for Hereford although Robbo can count himself unlucky to be potentially on the subs bench. It will be interesting to see if our formation that worked so well last week can work as well on the road and as always, will come down to how the midfield fare.
Looking through the starting XI, we have a very young team with only Lee Mansell and Kevin Nicholson over 25 and an average age of around 24. In the long term, this could bode well if the team can achieve relative success and stick together thinking back to how the near play off miss of 2003 saw us gain automatic promotion the following year.

After two very good home wins this game will be an indication of where we are. I fancy an away win here, 2-1.

It was nice to predict our last result correctly, so am hoping for a similar result............well not quite that similar because i'm going for 1:0 this time! ;D
Maybe our new striker will be in place by tomorrow...just joking, there's no chance he will have been registered by then! ;D

As the shocking news of the multiple car crash on the M5 near Taunton filters through, looks like it will be difficult for anyone to drive up this match tomorrow.

Kuffour goes one better than Kee and knocks in two a first half hat trick for the Gills.

222 away fans fair play to them considering the tragedy of last night Passed Crewe off the pitch, hit the post twice and one of the best performances over 45 minutes this year, according to Dave Thomas. Just a pity that we are only one goal up....

The natives are a wee bit restless! They even applauded Rene Howe when he was substituted.
