This begins this week and will we actually see the All Blacks actually win in their own back yard for the first time in ages or will they do what they sometimes do and bottle it.
They do thrash most on the way to semis but then dont perform somewhere and fail to lift the trophy. I actually think they will do it, Australia will obviously run them close and I can only see South Africa being near them.
As for the northern hemisphere teams, all too inconsistant so will be a surprise to see one in the final.

No one has won a World cup in their own back yard for nearly 3 decades (Thanks Johnny ya feckin t0sser) and the All Blacks don`t seem to be firing recently, that`s when you need to be wary of them! I`d put money on The Springboks vs The Wallabies in the final but I`ve a feeling The Boks could do it! Saying that this is the best England team for a long time, could get very intersting, even for a footy fan!

It's about time they won at something

On a slightly more serious note, this World Cup is looking rather interesting, France (as much as it pains me to say it) have decided to turn up and actually play, the Boks look strong, the Kiwis are performing, the Pommies have got a massively strong squad so I think it will be a huge uphill struggle if The Wallabies are to get anywhere near the final. For once it looks wide open and quite interesting, even for an egg chasing event!

The English All Blacks? What is it about sports shirts over here nowadays? The black shirts numbers are falling off right from the start, they look like bits of white electrical tape, very pish poor! England have been a tad lucky so far, the Argies can`t kick!

Problem being with this World Cup thingy is that if England don`t radically improve they won`t make the quarter finals! That would pish me right off because I want us to play you and prove Jonny`s kick was a fluke! ;D Waits for a bite! Come on fishies!

It was very much a poor England performance today, not helped by Wilkinson's kicking going to pot (he has had a heck of a lot of flukes in his career if that is his normal standard!) and thankfuly Argentina were no better which gave us the win. If we play like that then the top 4 will wallop us later in the tournement but we will now probably face France in the quarters and a win there would then see us play the men from Oz in the semis which could see some nice friendly banter on this forum.

(16 years ago) Certainly not a classic performance today but a win is a win (plus the Argies are no walkover) edit. Thought the Boks looked out of sorts against Wales. Never one to cheer for anything the wrong side of the severn but thought they might swing a win today. 1 point in it though

Well `The Azuri` are pants aren`t they, a bit like `The Argies`! ;D Hey I discovered that they have changed the ball, it`s slightly wider but that`s no excuse for the `past it` Wilko because every one has had to use it and every has had practice time with it, will be interesting to see who can deal with it!
