So we go away with a significant advantage which may prove crucial as Shrewsbury have only lost three times at home in the league this season. On the flip side, we have only lost by more than one goal three times in the league as well with each time the score being set at 1-3! As usual, Bucks will be looking to attack so why change the side or formation? In recent years we have done well against better sides looking to press against us and hopefully we will play with the spirit of notable away wins at Bury, Wycombe and Port Vale! Hopefully, this won't be the last game of the season but knowing Torquay, we won't score a couple of goals in the first half and cruise to a stress free win so squeaky bum time. It is a pity that the game is on Friday night as I'm sure more people could have made it over the weekend but the win last Saturday should ensure that a decent away crowd will be there to cheer the lads on. COYY.

they say 2-0 is a dangerous score line to take into a second leg, maybe so,i just hope we go for it,as i am very uncomfortable with our style of keep ball,i actually dont think we are too good at it,we are better attacking. But this is a game set up for us to be tortured for a long suffering 90 minutes.I am going along simply as i will wear the lamenate flooring away at home stressing over it.And we just know every time the ball gets launched into our area the crowd will scream penalty, lets hope the ref gets the big decisions right

They'll huff and puff and we'll just pick them off on the break. I predict an easy win and 90 minutes of pleasure rather than torture. You heard it here first

I'm afraid, that if we sit back and try and defend our lead we're gonna get screwed! Playing with one up front is so bloody negative, but with Tomlin having had such a good game last time out I think Buckle will go with that option! If we play the same team and the same way as we did on saturday...we'll walk it!
Only time will tell. I suppose my mate hullgull will think i'm being pessimistic, but I was born that way. Shit...even my blood group is B Negative!*
*If that's been used before I apologise!

Question I've been asking myself about this one.... do away goals count double? I can't see us keeping a clean sheet up at the Greenhous but I can see us scoring.... so, if it's 1-3 (as per our last away outing), do we go through on away goals? Tickets booked. Car full of diesel. AA routeplanner checked (and then discarded as it wants me to drive up the M1 on a Friday!!)... It's only bloody Tuesday.... tick tick tick.....

Just 90 minutes away from Old trafford, its almost more exciting than going to wembley(albeit I live in Wigan). We know Shrewsbury will go all out attack but to be fair they have to. But somehow I have this feeling we are destined for Old trafford. I remember the fa cup draw for the 5th round and how I was physically sick for almost 2 weeks after it. What ever happens we have to be proud of our season, but we are so close to great day out, imagine winning the final and then hitting Manchester afterwards with the champions league final in the evening....incidently what is the scheduled kick off time for the play off final?

got to say 8 replies on a thread of such importance is pathetic, where is everyone? On the bloody phone trying to get through to the Ticket Office!!! Shambles.... complete and utter shambles.... ....booked tickets over the phone on Monday morning (9.01am!).... told it was 'guaranteed next day delivery'.... 'great, no waiting til Friday morning then!'..... fat chance.... Wednesday, finally got through to Reception and was told that 'unfortunately, your booking wasn't logged'... wtf! .... it's not rocket science is it... take the order, post the tickets.... God only knows how they'll cope if we get to Old Trafford!!!! Now I've got to book them AGAIN and pick them up at the Greenhous.... shambles! Edited to add: After re-booking my tickets I was told that they 'weren't ready on Monday morning to deal with the orders correctly (no order forms to log any details... just post-it notes!)... It beggers belief that they had more than 24 hours to get things ready and still couldn't manage to photocopy a few hundred sheets of paper.... if we get to Old Trafford, I hope the photocopier's working, because the lad I spoke to told me that United will be dealing with the ticket sales! God help us!
