Yep......same as. Boss the game.....miss the chances, in control with the wind and going downhill. Then Ellis lets his man get a yard on him.....and hacks him down for a straight red. Feckin clueless ......Now for the alamo and defeat looming at this non league outpost once again.

absolutely dominated the first half only for ellis to get sent off near half time, very disappointing we arent leading in this one,all that dominance, what a mare.PB shows faith in him, when to be honest he was lucky to play, next 45 minutes will be hell now,he needs side-lining for a while now

We can still win this one. I'm more confident than I would be if we were defending a lead with 10 men.

What a kn@b I'd rather go in at HT 1 nil down with 11 men than 0 - 0 with 10 men - didn't Confucius say that?

A scrappy first half, as you would expect in such heavy conditions.
That said, we looked the better side and had the only real chances of the first half, Ellis had 2 headers, 1 saved by the keeper and 1 just wide. Possibly could have/shouldhave done better. Robinson also unlucky when he got in between thelast defender and the keeper, but the keeper made a good save. That was it for chances.
Talking point will be the Ellis sending off. If he did catch him, then as last defender he had to go. Ellis made out that he didn't touch him, but none of our players complained so I guess that it was the right decision.
It's going to be hard for us second half with a man down on this pitch. Personally I would leave 3 at the back and go for it, however would expect bucks to change it around, although all the subs are out on the pitch and no sign of anyone going to be part of the team talk.
I did think the game was there for the taking, now it depends on what accrington have, which wasn't a lot first half. We are also attacking the half that literally is a beach, so if anyone can get a hold of the ball/game then they might just nick a scrappy goal, because it's only going to be a scrappy goal on this 'pitch'.

Accrington are a joke.......rubbish crowds, poor ground and crap pitch, that seems to be a bog whatever time of the year we go there. Rather than spending more on wages than they can generate, see they're in trouble financially yet again......they should be forced to spend it on some decent drainage, so that football is a possibility on that pitch. Tinpot club that will disappear one of these years......hopefully again for several more decades. Yes, I am bitter ;D.....I was there for that terrible free entry 0-1 a few years ago .

I think he probably said "what a knob! when his mercurial centre-half got sent-off!
To be fair, these things happen, I'm sure that Ellis didn't mean to trip his man just as that Morecambe player probably didn't mean to when we got a penalty and a man advantage back in the autumn.
Tough remainder of the match - but it was always going to be the case - with 11 men or 10. You would expect Robinson to be withdrawn in this situation- I wasn't hugely impressed with his work-rate (I don't expect a headless chicken approach but I didn't think he looked to exploit space when he could have or pressure their defenders enough).

....a limp end to a horrible game on an awful pitch, seems an accurate summary.

same old same old,i do question buckle and his team selection today, ellis out of form, rowe turner in form didnt start, robinson lively up front substituted, cant see robinson staying with us,he keeps getting substituted and isnt happy with that, two games running he has been substituted and its changed the match. This sounded a pretty awful accy performance but still enough to beat us as i predicted and suspected, even though we did our usual team on top cant score senario, committment didnt appear to be there second half, sympathy to the fans who travelled up to endure that
