A few good points and one which is true is that Evans maybe a complete tosser but he is actually a decent manager and should not be underestimated. Also he has the indian sign over Buckle. Perhaps the most disappointing news is the appointment of the refreree, Darren Deadman. This bloke is utter shite, he is absolutely appalling and has shafted us over on more than one occasions. Expect to get nothing from this bloke, we will be yet again playing the official - you have been warned.

Expect to get nothing from this bloke, we will be yet again playing the official - you have been warned. I can only find evidence of him refereeing for us away against Northampton in April last year but by all means correct me if I am wrong..... Looking at the match reports, Enzo mentioned him in this paragrah The second half was poor. Northampton made more of the elements than we did and we lost our shape and composure. Muzzy lost his touch and we struggled to hold the ball up. Benners once again ran his socks off, but got little in the way of service.......or from the ref. Come the end he was a walking free kick concession. Benners was not alone in this as we gave away many needless free kicks and corners and throw ins through sliced clearances. For all their possession Northampton did not test Bevs too much and in general the defence held firm - as an attacking force we offered little as the game went on which was frustrating as news of our rivals fortunes was filtering through. Chris Hayes also made reference to him as follows in this paragragh: Muzzy had another impressive spell on the left and after intercepting a misplaced Northampton pass went flying down the wing looking like Martin Offiah at Wembley. That boy has pace and skill to burn. Nicky Wroe had a better game today but still far from this best. Benyon and Rendell also had good games. Benyon has to start being a bit less obvious with his hands when trying to get goalside of an opponent. The ref had his card marked in the first half and he wasn't given anything in the second half apart from get the really obvious decisions. But he's really giving it a go. Both posters referred to Benyon but can anyone else remember anything about this official.

Or Soccerbase is completely unreliable or you are talking Since 2005 he refereed 4 games which involved us. In 2005 we lost 2-1 at Leyton Orient, in 2006 we won 0-1 at Wycombe and away at Walsall we lost 2-1. It ends in 2010 with a 0-0 draw at Northampton. Or he's been in action at Plainmoor as a assistent referee, if that is the case then I'll eat my hat. ;D

Two more sleeps to go just two more sleeps to go, so make sure you use then as you might not get much sleep on Saturday night. You might be up all night partying, or just unable to get to sleep and get that nightmare out of your head.
I would love to be sat here at 6pm on Saturday and write in my match report that is was a cracking game and one we fully deserved to win. But then I’ll be just as happy to write we got very lucky and the gods for once were on our side.
All I really know to be honest is I just want to write a match report about our victory and not one about a defeat, or we were robbed, or the ref cost us the game etc. There is just so much riding on the result and while I can’t wait for the game itself, I think I’ll be glad when it’s all over and I know if he won it or lost it.
If you have a dentist appointment at 2.30, you know to expect some pain, if you’re going to the cinema to watch a romantic film, you know you might cry. If you are going the circus, you know you might end up being amazed, but who knows how we are all going to be feeling at 5pm on Saturday.
Is that the real magic of football? Why we love the game so much and why we allow ourselves to be put through so many emotions in such a sort space of time? I think we all know the answer and as football fans we must never be afraid to hope, never be afraid to believe and never ever believe it’s all over until the final whistle has been blown.
All those at the game will look back and remember the day and be glad they were a part of it, make no mistake its going to be a really great atmosphere up at Plainmoor and there will be no other place in Torbay on Saturday that will provide the sort of experience on offer up at Plainmoor.

A slow start `eh? In the last three games haven`t we scored within 10 minutes of the start, twice with Eunan and the last one with Elliot? It`s not finishing sides off that we have been found guilty of, in my opinion! A change of tactics me thinks is called for. Let them score first and we can then come from behind. What you say folks? Probably not a good idea Chelston...letting them score first! I think the only reason we made a little noise at the Carlisle match was because we scored early. Had Carlisle scored early I think the noise level would have been minimal and that would have been it. If Crawley score early I think Plainmoor will revert back to what it normally is...Plainmorgue!

With 1100 Crawley fans and their management team present plus an anticipated packed out home crowd, Plainmoor should be rocking! Besides, with a lot of people having to arrive early on what is shaping to be a very cold day of 2 C with a stiff north easterly, the fans are going to have to keep warm somehow.

I hope Evans doesn't read it 'cause i'm sure he'll have his forwards jumping all over Bevan if he does!

Got a feeling we will be in the draw for the 5th round but possibly alongside Crawley - all square after Saturday but who knows what will happen in the replay?! Would like to win tomorrow but happy to have to wait a few more days!

Don't think I'll get much sleep tonight. I haven't felt like this (all of a twitter!) since the Conference play-off final. Let's hope my one and half hour drive home tomorrow night will be with a smile on my face.

Just one more sleep to go yes just one more sleep before we wake up and clock watch the whole morning until it will be time to make our way up to Plainmoor, The club are asking for it to be a yellow day, but its going to be a wrap up warm day as its bitterly cold here in Torbay.
Reading the article in the link petef has put us, we sure come across as the very poor relation of Crawley and the club that needs the money from a win much more. If ever there was an argument one could use against those who say you can’t buy success, then simply mention Crawley to them.
I suppose most neutrals would want Crawley to win as they are the non league team, but I don’t think for one second that Crawley will see themselves as the underdogs. They will believe after beating a championship side in the last round, they will be good enough to beat a second division team.
It’s impossible to say how the game is going to go, we know they way we would like it to go for sure, but as we know anything can and so often does happen in a game of football.
I’m sure many TUFC fans deep down are fearful of a tearful ending, its something we have all been through far more times that we would ever have wanted too. What will be will be and as fans all we can do is give our players out on the pitch all the support we can for the whole ninety minutes, anything less and we have not played our part.
I personally believe we have a very good team made up of players who won’t let their heads drop when things are not going right and certainly won’t lie down and die. If they play the good football that are all capable of, then they have in my view a far better than a 50/50 chance of winning the game and being in the hat for round five.
I don’t want to see the game end in a draw, if it does then that would be better then losing it obviously, but I’m not a lover of knowing who you would have in the next round when its not known if you will still be in the next round as there would be the little matter of a replay standing in the way.
Some may say our club deserves some luck, but I would say our club deserves some good fortune as its long overdue because on the whole, we have always been a very honest club and one that has always had so much stacked against it. The difference between winning and losing this match will not only determine the rest of this season, but what happens in the following years ahead.
One thing that was a joy to read in that article was how it was Paul Buckle and Torquay United that has given young Mr O’Kane the chance to relive the dream of being a professional footballer, he might have felt had been lost.
Its one reason I don’t think he will leave the club that soon, he will want to repay our club for giving him the chance and more importantly Paul Buckle, who say what he really had to offer and was prepared to take a chance with him.
Be positive fellow fans and make all the noise you can up at Plainmoor, there is no reason why this should not be our day and the day we make more history by getting to the 5th round of the FA Cup for the very first time.
