We all know the perfect score for this match I’m sure, a big fat zero for Bradford and as many as the boys can score to ensure we stay top, increase our goal difference and yes keep that record going.
The record is nice and is something for the team to be very proud of, but the three points on offer are more important in the end and should Bradford score a goal against us, our lads won’t be to unhappy as long as they put two goals past Bradford.
Not been to up to date with the news this week so don’t know If Guy has any chance of starting on Saturday and if not then it will be the same back four that started the Lincoln game.
Bucks has already stated that Danny and Zebs are his first choice wingers and they are both sure to start as are Nicky and Lee in midfield. I can’t see Elliot being anywhere other than Plainmoor at the weekend and that’s where I hope he stays as I believe he will form a good partnership upfront playing with Billy.
I’m sure the lads will feel they are unbeatable and will be full of confidence going into the game if they work as hard as they have done in the games they have played so far this season, then I can only see one winner that will see the league table reading played three and won three.
What the players and Paul Buckle needs is for the fans to get fully behind the team and not shout out abuse if a player makes a bad pass, loses the ball a bit to easily, it does not help anyone and I hope we don’t see a repeat of the treatment young Danny got at our last home game.
While I’m hoping to see a great game of football and a convincing win for us, I’ll take a scrappy game with a late wining goal for us as long as we get the three points. Keeping the winning habit and getting the points on the board as soon as possible that would ensure our safety is what I’m looking forward to so we can enjoy the rest of the season looking just how high up the table we will finish and not have to spend it worrying if we would stay up or not.

I am off to Bielefeld tomorrow for 4 days hence my early tip, my gut feeling is a 1-1 draw on this one.

I'm looking forward to this game,a good sized crowd in Plainmoor,to teams that like to get the ball down snd play "it". No prediction from me I'll just be happy to be there and cheer on the gulls, yellow army.

Punting for a 2-0 victory, we only played the last game in third gear and still won. Hopefully now they are fully recovered and with no mid week games they will be on top form (not taken into account the reserve game). Anyways brother in law coming along and thats normally bad news but fingers crossed. Buckle out!!

After a late change of plans looking forward to seeing how we fare against what surely must be one of the better teams in this division.
I see that both Gritts and Branston had late fitness tests yesterday so could be a full squad to pick from but I would rather neither were rushed back prematurely.
It's not exactly beach weather today so coupled with a good start hopefully the crowd will be comparable to the Northampton match.
Would love to see another clean sheet today but ironically the eventuality of conceding a league goal at some point will be the setting in stone of a club record and maybe should be a cause for rueful celebration as opposed to commiseration.

A very wet and windy day here in the Bay that might have some effect on the quality of the football on offer this afternoon. I laughed when the guy on the local radio gave a message out to our visitors here yesterday.
It was very wet here yesterday and he said something like “ don’t worry about the weather here in Torbay today, we always wash the place down every Friday so its nice and clean for the start of your holiday here from tomorrow when the sun will be back out as normal” Well they all might be phoning up the station now and asking why the cleaning is still taking place.
Can’t see Bucks starting with Grits and I believe he will stick to the same line up as he has in the last two games. I hope we get an early goal and push on from there and get a few more.
Some fear we might fall apart if we do go a goal behind and the record ends, I do not think that would happen as the boys are enjoying winning games and being on the top of the table and while it might knock them for a short while, they will fight back if they do go behind and will win the game and remain at the top of the league two table.
If you are on line at 3pm and can put up the team news etc I would be very grateful.

Good to see Branston starting - Gritts returns to the bench. Team is otherwise as you would probably expect (ie as per the Reading and Lincoln matches I think).

Have we scored too early!!??
Sounds like a bit of a soft effort by the Bradford 'keeper but a good run and effort by Danny nonetheless.

It's working for me, I'm afraid. I could type the commentary, if that would help. They were just talking about Luton vs Barnstaple, for some reason.
