You can understand how some may feel, when they can't get a job In their own country, because the jobs have gone to those from other lands, who will work for far less money. There is absolutely no way anybody can claim they are unemployed because "foreigners" take all the jobs! Pay a visit to the job centre, there are plenty of jobs for those prepared to get off their arses! There are far to many bone idle scroungers in this country who will find any excuse not to work. The only reason all the Poles etc. came over here was to work for a living to try to better themselves and their familys, what's wrong with that? They are a damn site harder working than your average British layabout!

As someone who has only ever worked all his life and still does, It does not apply to me.
I have seem much news on the TV where factory's were paid to move to places where there were no jobs. Only for the company to fill the whole place with poles, so no jobs for the locals.
In one factory out Of 1000 jobs, poles had 950 Of them, the locals were not lazy, wanted to work, but found being British stopped them from getting jobs.
Why do some feel they want to say the British worker Is lazy? yes there are some, but you will find most Of us are decent hard working people.

I am not saying British workers are all lazy or even the majority of them but a significant minority of today's youth have been brought up knowing how to "play the system" and are quite happy to spend there life on benefits!

I fully agree with that Jerry, but a few to many Poles know you can work here, get a low wage, leave all your family In Poland, then claim every benefit going, even payments If the wife at home Is In child. Now If you think Its fine for someone just to come here and take out Of the system money for family back home, when they have not put one penny in to the pot,In this country, then Maybe Its me who has got It wrong

My experience is that the Poles are going back as their economic circumstances are now better there for them. they are not doing anything that we didn't do after the second world war. Ever seen Auf Wiedesehen Pet? All our tradesmen flocked to Germany to earn a good wage but had no intention of staying there.
Are we all not foreign?? Saxons, Normans, Celts etc. are any of us pure blood? NO
i believe we should restrict the numbers coming like Australia, Canada and New Zealand who do not take any old rubbish but let's not get so high and mighty that it should not just be based on economic grounds. All i'm saying that it should not be a free for all and we should not be seen as a soft touch.
Come here and participate in society, work hard and accept our values and you are welcome but that goes for the youth of today that are already here as well

Restricting entry to the country hasn't exactly worked for the USA, although they did create plenty of border patrol jobs trying to keep the Mexicans out.
And my dentist is a Pole - I don't want him to go back as he is by far the best I have known....and I absolutely hate going to have my teeth seen to!!

Andy there are many roles filled by workers from other countries that are needed and welcome, so I hope he Or she keeps a big smile on your face, all I believe Is we must Not give all our jobs away at the expense Of having none left for our own people.
