Excellent Steak and Boozy Ale Pie eaten last night at the Devon Dumpling, Was a few months ago costing was £7.95, tonight on the menu it was £9.95 - an increase of £2.00 in less than three months - what's that 25% increase? |

Depends if you are buying or selling! If you are buying it is certainly 25%. If you are selling you argue that it is a mere 20%. Either way a big price hike! |

If you are buying it is certainly 25%. If you are selling you argue that it is a mere 20%. Either way a big price hike! Apologies pie lovers - original price was £8.50, an increase of £1.45, a whopping 17% increase to the buyer! |

Excellent Steak and Stilton Pie up at the Dumpling last night, washed down with an excellent couple of pints of DD (Not Double Diamond) took away the horrors of Saturday afternoon.

The Devon Dumpling is now serving it's famous pies with the choice of potatoes - chips or mash, no new potatoes.

The Devon Dumpling is now serving it's famous pies with the choice of potatoes - chips or mash, no new potatoes. < Shakes ahead > surely, even you are in favour of only eating when thin gs are in season? new potatoes could only be on the menu if they were flown in from a far off country. waith till the spring and they will be back on the menu. by then i can join you as one of todays interviews in Exeter went very well  |

Fans find 'pie tax' hard to stomach
Supporters have criticised a new £5 "pie tax" in Ellands Road's South Stand.
This month adult ticket prices will rise to £42 and include a "meal deal"
voucher - even if fans don't want it
Leeds Supporters' Trust chairman Michael Green said: "The whole thing has been
introduced (by) a club that is completely out of touch with its supporters. The
club has an issue of how to keep one of the best supports in the country loyal."
A spokesperson for Leeds United said: "The club is looking at ways to encourage
supporters to use the facilities."

Microwaved to perfection and washed down with a delicious icy cold bottle of Stella Artois. Could be in for a cracker on Sunday. Off to drop the youngest to school later.
