For once this series is actually interesting! But then again, I could be wrong!

For once this series is actually interesting! But then again, I could be wrong! It's starting to look a bit one sided at the moment. I can't understand the Australian selectors picking Phil Hughes, who's a tad on the short side, against a tall England attack on a bouncy track, when he's had difficulties against the short ball before especially with Tremlett. If it wasn't for Finn bowling too short against Haddin and Hussey after lunch then Johnson and Siddle weighing in with almost 100 runs then the total could've been a lot less. The tail needs to wag hard. That Peter Siddle hat-trick seems like an awfully long time ago.

I must confess I don't know very much about this game called cricket. But my good mate Aussie filled me in a bit on Saturday when we had a chat.
So the Aussies can now still win the ashes? that is as long as they win the next two games, well thats what I think Aussie was saying. But can they make such a comeback when all looked lost not so long ago.

1 win and a draw from the 2 remaining would do it for them, Dave. For once, I would say we have the better cricketers. Fighting spirit and some poor batting tipped this last one.

Oh God, what happened? Just finished watching the highlights and I may will watch them again this afternoon . A great day for England but what happened to the 70 odd thousand Aussie 'cricket supporters' who had gone AWOL by the end of play. Near full MCG at the start - with the exception of the barmy army of course- but thousands of empty seats come the end. They must have watched the final session at home. What a tonic for any visiting team.

Probably all lined up on The Westgate bridge preparing to jump, Ponting has lost it completely, can`t bat for shit, can`t captain the side for shit and I bet when he goes for a dump he can`t shit! Is there a theme I`m building here?

You haven`t seen a photo of Warnie since he started banging that fit Liz Hurley bird, makes me think he`s made an effort! More than I could say about the bloody cricket team!
