Its not looking very good for my first win with THREE already uncovered still got two I'm banking on ;D The tiebreaker is no more than a bit of a joke due to the remarks that Stefano made last night, but I wonder if wifeless farmers meet up there

Surely that's he easiest one given all the clues Dave's put out..
It's obvious he's standing behind a white Ford Transit which is decked out in the Toolfix livery, in a lay-by somewhere in the South-West region.
A doddle...

Well 314 miles for Steptoe today and I'm exhausted! Most answers seem to have appeared, missing ones may be:- (1) Royal Oak at Hillcommon near Taunton (2) Ring of Bells at Norton Fitzwarren (3) Dave's van parked in a layby! To tired to even go to the pub tonight Dave!! ;D

So let me see, Stefano needs to be in Hartland at 8.45am, in bed by 22.33pm. Stuartb needs to leave home at 6am in bed by 22.48pm. The old man of the three has to be in Weymouth by 7.30am and is still going strong on the forum That's very kind of you Dave but I think you'll find you are younger than me! .... Even Merse is! (but only by six months in his case) ;D

I really really really don't believe it, I was on to a certain winner tonight, gob smacked, shaking head in disbelief, going to bed frustrated.

No one worked out my 'field' and hedgerow yet? There again, I don't think the oracle Mr B. Downs has had a peek yet... I'm sure he'll get it right away...

Reminded me a bit of a part of the Clyst Valley between Rockbeare and Plymtree ..... but as there are rather a lot of them in Devon & Cornwall I am afraid I find fields harder than Dave's lay-bys!

Ok... A bit of a clue... which may already have been deduced:
The second picture has a pale part in the hedgerow, that is actually where it has overgrown the entrance to a bridge over the railway.
Another clue then: I was visiting a client who is the Chairman of the North Devon Conservative Association.

I'm going to take a real stab in the dark on the lay-by (being as I have had my fair share of lay-by moments in the past!) and guess at the one a couple of miles or so outside Wiveliscombe toward Milverton on the B3227 coming in from the Taunton side?
I would even go so far as to say that Dave was on his way from Taunton, saw the lay-by and turned into it from the far side as the van is pointing the opposite way to which he should've been going!!

Nearly right, its the second one on the way out of Wiveliscombe heading toward Taunton. A super bumper weekend one coming soon.
