On the subject of mines... Here's one I visited on my birthday, the day that this site had it's record amount of hits and we gave away a 1-0 lead in the dying seconds at Crewe, February the 2nd. But where is it? As a small clue, as I think this is probably quite easy, it is situated in Cornwall.

Where Was I?There is a North ***** and also an East ****** but West ****** has the best looking pub, only when I was outside it this morning there was still an hour to go until opening time, such a shame on such a hot and sticky day. Strangely there is not a South ******, maybe someone broke the compass

Where Have I been todayThat Stefano was too dam good yesterday coming up with the answer so quick, so today its going to be a bit harder. Below are four pubs I was outside today in North Devon, two have a clue where they might be in their name. Picture five is Devon's Stonehenge( well thats what I call it) I need a name where each picture was taken and your entry must contain you guess where all five are, not just one or two of them. In case of a draw picture six is a tiebreaker, where is this tree? What a contrast in todays weather, yesterday I took the photos in bright sunshine and today in the rain. Tie Breaker

(1) Junction Inn, Beaworthy (Halwill Junction) (2) Union Inn, Stibb Cross (3) Bell Inn, Parkham (4) Quigleys Custom House, Bideford (5) Roundabout at Barnstaple (from the town centre turn right for Ilfracombe over the newish bridge, straight on for Fremington, or left for Tiverton / Crediton / Exeter) (6) Bideford

Yes thats the missing answer Barton and worked out by the power of deduction, unlike Stefano who I believe must have some sort of drink problem the way he seems to know all the pubs in the whole of the Southwest Spend ages today getting all the photo's hosting them, writing the post and its all over in five minutes on here I'm going to make then even harder and feel its best to not do anymore pubs.

Bit harsh Dave and how do I know that Barton knew the others! He may have only got the one I got wrong!! I didn't think about your route as I thought that you may have deliberately mixed them up to confuse us. I must confess that I drove past three of the four pubs today (including the one I didn't get right!) plus the Barnstaple roundabout (which nobody would forget if they have seen it once) and I did have a careful look at your photos to see if you had captured me driving past in any of them! The only thing I am familiar with in North Devon that I haven't seen recently is Miac, who is not actually a bad chap but probably just can't do forums the same maybe as Aussie!

We've got some right old clever-glogs on here!! So no clues to this as it really shouldn't tax the brain for our Mastermind boys...

That's a rather obscure one, Leigh. Tregiffian burial chamber?
