Name No2 Rob, It does make you wonder If said players were available for loan, why It takes so long to sort things out, but lets hope we get one Of the three before Saturday.

In fairness, Dave. Martin Allen has only just come in at Cheltenham and perhaps the unfavoured Lindegaard might fancy his chances again. I'm sure Allen would want to run the rule over all at his disposal. How long for, who knows.

Yes a good point Rob, do not know much about the player and If I just came in as the boss, I would want to make sure I had the best players available for my own squad.

Well from the report on the dotcom site, it seems that today's reserve game didn't feature any trialists and given that Team Bath put out a young team, I doubt that the aforementioned Mr Abbott played either.
Having said that, it's good to hear that our strikers all got on the scoresheet, with Green (3), Benyon and Dsane all scoring.
With no movement out of the club, more than a week after Brough and Dsane were made available, it may be that Paul Buckle is unable to bring anyone else in even if he wanted to.

Crispy I do not believe that to be the case, I heard a figure Of money, that left me with my mouth open, that has been made available to bring in new players.
So I do not see having to move out two at this time, would need to be a stumbling block.

Fair enough Dave, it's good to hear that the Board are still backing the Manager like this, even with income from gates substantially down.

This Is why I have said, that at this time Buckle has the support of our board. As fans all we should be doing now, Is wait and see If the players are brought in and what effect that has on team performances. Like I said to you the other day, I do feel there has to be some time limits, Its OK to do the talking, but at some point we will need to see the action.

Seems like that's that for another week. Hope we sort the position before a difficult run of games coming up after Saturday's MUST win.

A suggestion if I may -
I believe that in the absence of a specialist RB that we stop looking to versatile midfielders to fill in there.
We have two full-backs at the club already, who may only have a right-peg for standing on but they are first and foremost defenders! Look at some Premiership examples - Chimbonda did left-back (OK, he threw his rattle out of the pram over it); Phil Neville was played on the left when neccessary by Ferguson (unfortunately so did England against Romania). Anyway, my point is that a defender should be there and ideally a full-back trained one. Maybe if a defender played there last year, then Todd wouldn't have been in the position to pretend he was just down the park and try to dribble away from the right-hand by-line!
Another player who could do it is Robertson. Maybe he stank there but I didn't see it. So for me he could do the Olof Mellberg thing (even David Wheater played there for Boro the other week and he's a real big lump!).
So, let the defenders do the defence, and let the Midfielders do whatever they do (which is normally get in the defence's space and hump balls around to no-one in particular). I love Mansell but he just doesn't cut it at RB for me. Thompson did well when playing for someone else but looks less than comfortable there for United.
I thank you, Mr Ron Manager, says goodnight!

Rob, I believe the effects Of putting two players on the available to loan list, has had a very positive effect. All the players have worked so much harder In training and all are now fighting for a place In the team.
Due to that and the fact that we would have had to get those two players out on loan, before we could get anyone else In, I do not think, we will now sign any new player. I do believe we may well see some changes In the January transfer window.
