The big question for this game must be, will Bucks try the new formation! 3 centre halves, 2 wing backs and Sills up top flanked by Rendell on the right and Benyon on the left, in a league match.
Jmgulls match report suggests that Mansell and Nico had problems adjusting positionally to the new system, but I'm sure they would soon learn what their new roles would require.
The system seemed to have suited Rendell as I'm sure he found he was getting balls to his feet and he has proved how good he is at then laying of good passes and bringing others into the game.
You would think on paper it might look like we have no chance of getting a result, but the Southampton game showed a team can have its back to the wall for a whole half and still be winning by two goals.
The key to this game will have to be our defending and we all know we do need to tighten up things much better at the back, I'm sure we will see Poke back in goal as I'm not sure Bevan is still 100%.
Lets hope whatever the result that we give a good account of ourselves on the TV, I'm sure the team will not lack and effort, it will come down to if we are good enough in the end.

I would be worried about this formation with Nico as the attacking left sided full back. IMO he struggles with pace in a normal 4-4-2 set up. Shame he's not McGlinchy!!

For the local lads - is there a pub that everyone will be going to?

Actually we're nailed on for a win on Sunday, as I'm going to the game, and having only managed three games this season so far, and seeing the three wins we have mustered, then your money at the bookies is a cert.
Let's hope messrs Hill and Ladbrokes don't read this forum otherwise the odds will be slashed.
You heard it here first folks ;D

A tough game which we, by all costs, should not loose. A draw or win keeps the unbeaten run going and confidence will grow. A defeat will throw us back and we'll have to start all over again.

....Well a handy set of results for us today, the 5 or 6 clubs around us mainly lost, with a couple just drawing. At least a defeat at Notts C wont leave us out of touch, in fact even if we did lose tomorrow, we can still climb out of the bottom 2 with a home win against Morecambe next sat (they were hammered 4-1 at Aldershot today). ....Some cause for optimism i feel

Blimey that is possibly one of the best spins I have ever heard We haven't won for 8 games (and we have lost 6 in a row before 2 home draws) we sit one off the bottom and cant seem to win, but you are seeing it as a unbeaten run! I like your style, In every other part of my life the glass is half full, with torquay I am afraid it is half empty (and sometimes broken!) I hope I am proved wrong soon

TB1 gave his missus all that old lady thingy once when he wanted to go to Mansfield, I mean; have you ever been to Mansfield? After Halfords and McDonalds there's naff all left to shop at save for the local market but Trish had the last laugh as she came back to the pub with a nice leather coat and an even nicer hole in the old man's VISA account Better than many years ago when The Gulls played back to back games on the road with a game at Reading on the Good Friday and another one at boring old Scunthorpe on the Saturday. Not really fancying a night in Scunny, my mate and I booked ourselves into a hotel in Nottingham fancying a night on the lash and maybe a bit of female company for the twin beds later on........................hold on there though as some other mates managed to con the hotel into believing we were a honeymooning couple and we arrived to be switched to a double room with floral arrangements and a card from the management wishing us a happy lifetime together!
