Dear me unable to get out our own half and under the strong pressure, we let them take the lead.

Off to work in a shite mood AGAIN, Torquay losing, fixed odds coupons not even close, what a crap day. Oh and this is our worst run in nine years.

I await the match reports from those that were there with interest especially with regard to the Keystone Kop defending during the 6 minute period where we let in two goals. Bring on Aldershot I say - they could only manage FOUR today.

....Truly horrible, crushing defeat this one.
1 up away up north to a struggling side.....your defenders need to earn their wages in these situations, ours didn't, end of.
Into the bottom two and six straight defeats..........that glorious day at Wembley a few months ago seems so long ago it could be from another era all together.
.......sat afternoons listening to julian gaunt describe an away defeat at some northern lge 2 outpost, groundhog day.

Dear Mr Buckle
Now I wasn't there today so I can't comment on who was at fault for the defending. I was listening on the wireless but had to pop out for 10 minutes to pick my son up. Bu**er me if we're not 2 - 1 down by the time I got back. My gaster has never been so flabbered. DT was saying before I went out that we were on top.
Please, please. please get a replacement RB cover with the money left over from the recent outgoings of players.
I will do my best to get over todays results by having a few beers and a meal up the Devon Dumpling this evening. Though I'm sure my family will remind me of the result.
Yours in readiness for Aldershot on Tuesday......

A few questions I have to ask? why was not Mansell started, he seemed to have came through the Tiverton game OK and this was a game we really had to make sure we did not lose.
Williams brought on in the second half on the left wing again, why? he was so poor there against Grimsby, to think Muzzy is out on loan, a player who could have made a much bigger impact than Williams.
Todd taken off against Grimsby because Bucks felt he looked tired, so why did he stay on the whole game. Mansell could and should have come off the bench at least and Robertons moved in next to Ellis.
Ellis sounded like he had a good game, brave and a fighting display, but made the odd mistake. Sills also sounded like he worked his socks off and while Benyon got our goal, you got the feeling he gave the ball away a bit too often, or wanted too much time on the ball.
A very gutting day and its going to be hard after a long hard days work on Tuesday, to find the effort to get up to Plainmoor. Still I'll make sure I have a nice day out with Carol on Sunday to try and forget our six defeat on the trot, in a game we were winning, but threw away by poor defending.

Well as I see it, Charnock was brought in for a very good reason; he's been badly missed and we need him back urgently as we do Mansell and then maybe the manager will feel he can deal with Todd's endless habit of not being decisive enough in clearing a danger...........................a problem he has encountered ever since he has been here, and cost us hugely in the Trophy final at Wembley two years ago and is now being eagerly seized upon by Football League opposition. This must have been a significant factor in his dropping out of League football six years ago and it seems he either doesn't have it in him to address this flaw in his play or either he nor anyone else feels this is a weakness worth addressing. I await the TV goal shots with interest, but it is something I am rather tired of hearing to be honest. I don't care whether he has to overcome cancer, ingrowing toenails or plain stupidity to be honest.....................slap dash defending costs you dearly in professional football and cannot be tolerated. It is costing us dearly. How often do we see teams obviously lacking confidence in themselves and struggling to take a positive hold on the game, transformed when let back into the match.........................by the commentary and summarising we have done that today and it is THAT sort of unprofessionalism from players that costs managers their jobs and gets clubs relegated!

Not sure about the way you worded it, merse, but Todd is most definately a weak link at present. It actually sounded to me the type of game where Buckle could justifiably trot out the much heard "unlucky" line.

Think before you type please, or at least use some tact," heartless arse" I would say, people around you are going through some hard shit and you come out with that, none of it`s his fault and I don`t think he`s picked out of sympathy but there are people on here who have loved ones suffering from cancer and related diseases so try not too put your foot in your mouth so much!

Well I hadn't meant to upset anyone's feelings so I apologise if I did, but I was trying to put over the point I feel that people are tending not to notice his deficiencies because their judgement is clouded by sympathy.....................sympathy will not address the problems caused by his constant errors.

It sounded like DT was surprised with the substitutions, he seemed to think that Wroe and Stevens were having good games. Carlisle appeared to have an off day.
Assuming that Charnock and Mansell are back for TUESDAY - who will Bucks put into the two CB slots. Assume it would be a toss up between Robbo and Ellis to partner Charnock.
I can hear the beer calling...........
