My lift is late in snow dusted Surrey. Glad to hear its sunshine in the Bay. 2-1 today. Mark my words. Well lets hope he gets to you soon Rob and you don't then have to drive like mad men to get here. The good news is around these parts most drivers help each other, so if you see an oncoming driver wave to you, don't just think he is being very friendly, but slow down ;D

So I'm going to watch MK Dons take on Burnley, their box office is still selling tickets for the Burnley end so I'll go in there! Good luck today lads! I'll keep in touch via the Internet on the phone!

Well I know the game is not going to take place in my back garden, but I just went out and had a walk around on it, half of it is still white and the other half all green as the sun has been on that part.
I was surprised when I walked on the green part to discover my feet were sinking a few inches into the grass (no fat jokes please). So I walked on the part still covered in frost and I was surprised again to find I was sinking again, not so far but the ground is soft and the frost is only really on the grass and has not frozen the soil.
Mind you if it comes to the worst I suppose the game could go ahead in by back garden, I could then get my match report up nice and early.

Are you sure Aussie? My neighbours have spent the last hour putting chairs all around the outside of my back garden mate. Not to worry I’m sure we can all have a barbe when I get home and play a seven a side game.

It`ll be on, the only crusty bits were the bits in the shade and their thawing as the sun hits them, don`t hit the panic button mate! I`m confident we will have a game on this afternoon, saying that I have been proven wrong in the past!

Mind you if it comes to the worst I suppose the game could go ahead in by back garden, I could then get my match report up nice and early. What on that slope! Sounds like the ref is bending over backwards to get this game on..................frost is a funny thing: there is hoare (grass) frost and there is the much harder to predict as far as thawing goes ~ ground frost which can be a bugger to come out in shady areas and those with a slightly less richness of turf covering. I wish everyone the best of luck, especially the ref; he is on a hiding to nothing now because he could say go ahead and then it begins to freeze again in those parts once the game starts and he then has a BIG problem. This just goes to underline the ridiculous criticism there was of both Stockport County and Crewe Alex from our fans recently, I bet they'll be less noisy THIS time! Even the 3G out the back of my home is unfit for Anthony to play on at this moment because it hasn't been swept clear and where the ice formed has never had any sun on it anyway.
