Due to suspension we will be without both Robertson and Wroe, plus Zebs will also not be able to play due to being cup tied. So a chance for Mark Ellis to get back onto the pitch and I’m sure Bucks will start him and that Mark will once again give a man of the match performance.
With Poke also now able to play for us in this game, will Bucks play Bevan anyway? He did a good job for us in the last round and Bucks may feel he should get the opportunity to play his part and hopefully get us into the next round.
Who would want to be a manager? But bucks will want to put out the very strongest team he can and keep his whole squad happy as not only is there good prize money to be won, there is a chance of a big club in the next round.
It’s often said a cup game is one where the players can take their minds of the league, but after how our players must have felt after the Bournemouth game, I expect they will go into this match with that game firmly in their minds and will want to make sure they get their full rewards in this game.
Hard to say how many will be up at Plainmoor, I would love to well over 4000, but feel it might be more like around the 3500 mark.

Cant say I am overly optimistic seeing Wroe, Robertson and Zebs will not figure all have made big contributions in our recent successes and will be missed. So it looks like the obvious changes will be Greavsy for Wroe Ellis for Robertson and Rendell/ Beyon / Sills the options up front. I also think he might well give Bevan the gloves though I personally believe Poke to be a far superior keeper.. Side should read Bevan Mansell Ellis Charnock Smith Thompson Hargreaves Carlsile Thomson Rendell Benyon or Sills. I think we may struggle to win it as they had a a good win yesterday scoring five. Still we usually perform when least expected and the prize could be huge so who knows. I reckon a crowd approaching 45000 this is the third round after all and many will still be on a break form work and these ties usually see a few coming out of the woodwork and Brighton are sure to bring a thousand at least.

Pete I would not be surprised to see Bucks start with Sills and Benyon up front. I see no need to be concerned as we will have Hargreaves and Tompson in the middle and Mark Ellis will do a good job at the back for us.
A very winnable game and one I feel is going to see us in the hat for the next round.

More than happy for Ellis to come in for Robbo. On his day Wroe is the linchpin in midfield - Zebs will be missed the most for me. I assume he'll start with Rendell and Benyon (when Chris Fleet was asked for a comment on Saturday about Benyon he said "if only he was two stone heavier and had muscles"). I see from Sundays Indy we are 'linked' with a 6' 5" CB recently released by our Cornish brethren.

The player himself says Paul Buckle has "hinted" he'd like to see him play. Other options include Tiverton Town and a Swedish club.

seagullone if your are coming down for the match, it will be a very cold day here in Torbay so wrap up nice and warmly, I would expect any problems concerning the game not going ahead.

The win at Wembley has to be there, being (IMO) probally the most important win in the clubs history. Gawd 'elp us if we hadn't won that day. The TFF carveries - especially Dave and his Torrey Canyon gravy spill. Have cracked open the cooking sherry already mate, because it would appear you have stuck this in the wrong thread!

I might be tempted to try something a little out of left-field (no pun intended). Our best chance to win this tie is on Saturday, the underdog rarely gets 2 bites of the cherry. Despite the players we'd have back for a replay, our chance is at home.
What we'll lack most due to the suspensions is Wroe's creatvity in midfield. I'm a big fan of Tyrone, but he's not a creator and in a 4-4-2 alongside Greavsie we'd lack a spark. I'd take a bit of a gamble - move Smith into midfield and bring Nicho back into defence. Smith has all the ability required to supply the ammunition in there. It would weaken the defence a touch, but without a passer in midfield, i don't think we can win this game. If Nicho needs more help, perhaps substitute Thomson for Thompson.
----------------Poke Manse-------Ellis--Charnock-------Nicho Carlisle---Smith---Greavsie-----Thomson Benyon---Rendell

I can see where you are coming from Shane, but do feel Nico with Tomson on the wing will just be to exposed. I don't think we can sacrifice what Tomson brings to the team on the left wing, just so Nico can have the extra help he will need.
I'm sure Bucks will play Hargreaves and Thompson in the middle, bring in Ellis due to Robertson not being able to play and may start with Sills and Benyon upfront, having Rendell to bring on later if we have not scored, or need too.

I certainly think the team you suggest would be more solid Dave, and would likely provide the best opportunity of a result of some kind. I'm afraid i just couldn't see us winning a replay, so might be prepared to take a gamble or two in order to try and get the win at the first attempt.

Shane to win we will need to score more goals than the other team and while I am a big fan of Nico, i just feel Brighton may have far to much pace in their team and Nico won't be able to cope with it.
Keeping it tight at the back and reducing Brighton's opportunities and then trying to nick a goal ourselves, will be the only way I can see up winning.
I still feel we will be good enough on the day and lets not forget we are in the third round and we got there with out Zeb's.
