p.s. Can someone please take away the image in my mind of Mr Merson and his priapism? Just looked this up - Jeez. Oh the hazards of Google eh! Sometimes you can learn stuff you wished you`d never heard of!

Back to the football, a brilliant result and a cracking finish from Zebroski for our first goal. Creating a goal out of nothing, that makes the difference from our earlier games. We must be good on confidence, let's hope we can take this sort of form up to Moss Road tomorrow! [/quote] Could have been this I was refering too when I said I think Ospel has a good point!

While I, like many others here, do believe that DTG is talking loads of bollocks about our manager he is entitled to have an opinion. Some of the comments made in this thread are over the top, no wonder his replies are also out of order. Come on guys, let the man be who he wants to be on this site. He's probably a lot nicer and more positive when you meet him personally. He may well be nicer in person, but he's an a**e on here. He should have the right to say whatever he wants about TUFC, but it doesn't mean others should have to censor themselves when responding to what he has to say.

Freedom of thought and freedom of speech are very important! It`s what you do with them that reveals all!

I thought the name calling belonged on "another site", we`re meant to be a little bit more mature as a forum girls and boys! Yes I know I`m a fine one too talk!

@ Ospel and Aussie:
You're both probably right about the name calling. Please feel free to replace 'sod' with another noun.

@ Chelston and Aussie: You're both probably right about the name calling. Please feel free to replace 'sod' with another noun. As Daver has said in the past "this site is self moderated" we control ourselves here as best we can mate and I know Daver is particularly proud of the way we moderate ourselves, even though we have a moderator I feel he shouldn`t have to do a lot, self control (something I lack in ) is the key to being sensible, and on that note I think I better lay down in a dark room and compose myself! I`ve come over all light headed!

It struck me on Saturday that their goal keeper was wearing the number 13 on his back, like he needs any bad luck the way he plays! It was put too me that the game against Darlington was on par with kicking the white stick out of a blind mans hand or stomping on a lame dog so all credit to the Smurf, Buzz Lightyear and Mr.Blobby for making the effort that they did full well knowing that they are doomed! A very sad and sorry state of affairs!

As Daver has said in the past "this site is self moderated" we control ourselves here as best we can mate and I know Daver is particularly proud of the way we moderate ourselves, The fact is no one likes to be moderated and it is something I nor Rob have any wish to do, we are all adults on this forum and you should all be more than capable of moderating yourselves. I do feel we should be able to express our views whatever they maybe, I do not see the point or the purpose of calling each other names, its not very grown up and not the way adults should behave. Its almost as bad as trying to rubbish someones views based on what job they do. We have left the posts as they are, but would kindly ask the name calling is stopped. Dave

p.s. Can someone please take away the image in my mind of Mr Merson and his priapism? Just looked this up - Jeez. That reminds me of my mate "Arthur" many years ago who overdid the "White Lady" a bit and whatever he tried, the bloody "Eric" wouldn't go away. He bashed it, bonked with it, even tried to wee with it but still "Old Faithful" continued to hang around when it wasn't wanted. How we laughed when he eventually fell asleep on the setee still doing his impersonation of Nelson's Column..................and the look on his face in the morning when he awoke to find we had strapped a tooth brush to it was priceless and he only broke into a grin when he removed the molar cleaner and his best mate fell down in a heap.

Surely thats up there with JFK's "Ich bin ein Berliner"? Ah but did he mean ein Berliner Weise, ein Berliner Eisbein or Berliner Pfannkuchen? ? 'cos I reckon Mr President was a little peckish and buggered his translation up. ............and if he was after the Vegetarian Vote when he said that Chris he lost it in one fell swoop there ~ just just as well he wasn't in either Hamburg or Frankfurt then!

Fair enough Dave. I'll choose my words more carefully next time. Thanks, as I have said I just want to be member on here like you and everyone else, you can help make that happen for me by just getting stuck into a good debate without posting anything in the post that forces me or Rob to have to edit it.

It struck me on Saturday that their goal keeper was wearing the number 13 on his back, like he needs any bad luck the way he plays! Several years ago when the CGs were sponsoring a home game with Halifax we were given a tour of the dressing rooms. Unfortunately a certain highly decorated member who 's name reminds me of a smoked haddock but who shall remain nameless; chose to abuse the hospitality and wrote "Loser" along the bottom of the Halifax keeper's no 1 on his jersey in black felt tip pen. Oh how we laughed when he duly ran out with it clearly apparent on his apparel!
