I was on about second hand info, very good memory Stuart and I still stick by what I said, but when you hear it from the player himself it kind of rules it out from being a rumour, like he`s gunna spread rumours about himself or something, first hand info from the horses mouth is not rumour, sorry Chris didn`t mean to call you a horse! These hands of mine will not be throttling you mate, you might get a firm pat on the back and a hand shake you cheeky git!

The Herald Express report that Hargreaves trained with the squad yesterday and as been declared fit to be selected for tonights match.
We know scoring is our problem and it has been suggested that maybe Zebs should start upfront. I got the feeling reading the report that Bucks will prefer to have Zebs out on the left wing in a more free role, as he is good at cutting in from that side.
Thompson did just about OK on Saturday, but a fit Hargreaves has to be the pick to start and I would love to see Rendell start the game.
Port Vale have not scored that many goals themselves this season, so I think our defense should be able to prevent then getting that many chances tonight.
We just need to find away to make sure we keep creating chances as we have been doing and making sure we make a few of them count.

On his latest blog Greavsy said that he was unwell yesterday evening and going to bed!!!

His blog says he`s suffering from "man flu", that was just yesterday, he got home from training and needed to collapse last night so to be fit for tonight I really struggle to get my head around!

What Hargreaves suffers from man flu we will have to wait and see and we have heard many time before a player would not be fit to make the starting line up, only for them to do so

After yesterdays downpours when only the loan signing of Buster Crabbe would of given us a chance, it is back to the usual cold wet and windy in ST6. Looks like it will be a bringalongabrolly/thermals/scarf evening....

Carlisle Wroe Hargreaves Zebroski
Benyon Rendell
So I got my wish upfront, now I need them to score.

After Benyon missed a very good chance, Poke makes a great save to prevent Port Vale taking the lead, sounds as if we are doing OK so far.

Aussie - looks like you were wrong - just like you were about the ref on Saturday!!!
Not surprised Thompson has moved back to the bench. We missed the bite and know-how of Hargreaves on Saturday - as well as his scoring threat.
