FL2: Bury v. Torquay 1st May 2010

Miac – Why is it that you continually refer to PB’s “questionable man management” skills? I really get pi$$ed off by these repeated assertions. Now I know that there is a theory that suggests continually repeating the same statement makes it valid but I have to ask where this “information” comes from. Was it some inside source? Could it have been on a forum? Perhaps it came from a mate in the pub! Wherever it came from you seem only too happy to accept criticism of PB as being accurate and can not accept there may be another side to the story.

I have long had concerns about some of the decisions made by PB but it has always been to his credit that he has not responded to those like yourself who feel able to criticise / attack his every move. I do not know what has gone on behind closed doors and, consequently, am not in a position to comment precisely because those doors have been, and always should be, closed. Please take a step back and look at the stuff you have posted and see if there is any chance you may have allowed your anti-Buckle prejudice to influence what you have written.

Went to the game on saturday. A good result but the scoreline was very harsh on Bury who could and should have buried us in the 2nd half. Our finishing was clinical in the end but overall the second half was dire, except for our defense. Bury went for the equaliser, created chances but couldn't score. Good substitutions in the end made sure of the 3 points. Bury didn't seem 'up for it' and their crowd were also very silent. Good atmosphere in the huge away end!
