Thanks for joining. I emailed Elaine enquiring if she could join the forum to answer any question anyone has about Autism or the Miracle Project. She is a fabulos person who works very hard with the Miracle Project and I hope you have a good time on here Elaine

I spoke to Elaine Hall of the Miracle Project last night and had offered to send her son - Neal - who has Autism (I think he dosent talk much) a signed football, pictures and a pair opf TUFC socks and she has glady accepted it.
Neal was born in Russia but Elaine adopted hm when he was still a baby, he has autism and is a non-verbal kid. I thought seeing as he loves football I could do this for him and I`ll get the football, pictures and socks sorted out and sent after New Year when I`m back from Manchester.

I recently watched a programme called "Autistic Me - One year on" which follwed a group of young Autistic people last year and then did a follow up program a year later to see how they were going and I watched with a lot of interest as you may know. I certainly liked it, Tom who is 16 and attends a full mainstream college doing a music course and moved down from Kent to Cornwall (Truro) and glady is doing well. I have got in contact with Matt Rudge who is the preoducer of the Autistic Me program and maybe I could get in contact with Tom off the program and I hope to be able to email him and talk to him about experinecs etc.
