Sounds a very good CD Mr W maybe you should see if you can get a company to put it out, that is after you work out the one you need to delete to get an ELO track on there.

Hallelujah - Jeff BuckleyThey Shoot Horses, Don't They? - Racing Cars Baba O'Riley - The Who (CSI!!)....stands back and waits for comments from my learned friend Phil Chelst!! (prob not enough proggy 48 min keyboard solos for ya dude!!!)........ Jeff Buckleys version of Hallelujah is just superb and will NEVER be sung better by anybody. Interesting thought for me is what of my favourite tunes I could fit on a CDR 80 - might try and knock up one of my favourite singles......

How has no-one mentioned the Velvet Underground yet?!
Their self-titled album with Candy Says, What Goes On, Some Kinda Love, Beginning to see the Light and I'm Set Free is a heavyweight collection of stonkers!

Another one of me ahem famous self-compiled CDs....... 1. Foggy Mountain Breakdown (instrumental) - Lester Flatt n Earl Scruggs (from Bonnie and Clyde film methinks) - the same geezers who did a version of Duelling Banjos - you goin' up Aintrey?..... 2. Elizabethan Reggae - Boris Gardner - swing those loon pants, Mr_Chelston.... 3. Glasgow Lullaby - Eric Bogle 4. Land Of My Fathers - Llanelli Male Voice Choir (VERY stirring stuff indeed) 5. Unchained Melody - yep the King (Elvis of course) 6. Wedding Song - Daniel O'Donnell 7. Hymns and Arias - Max Boyce 8. Jacks Heroes - The Pogues AND The Dubliners 9. From Clare To Here - Ralph McTell 10. Uptown Uptempo Woman - Randy Edelman - one of my faves 11. Working Man - Rita McNeill 12. One Of Those Days In England - Roy Harper 13. Who Knows Where The Time Goes - Sandy Denny (still sadly missed - Englands finest voice) 14. Kiss Me (acoustic version) - Sixpence None The Richer 15. Okey Kokey - Slade (geddin there) 16. Johnny Come Lately - Steve Earle and The Pogues 17. I'll Tell My Ma - Sham Rock 18. Firestarter - The Prodigy (remembering the Nailsea Boys at Plainmoor who used to wear the yellow safety helmets (with squad numbers!!) - their leader used to shriek this out as he entered the Pop side on match days - a bespectacled lad I recall - great stuff - anyone else remember them?.........a VERY scary song I reckon anyway........ 19. Rise - Public Image Limited (with the great 2nd gen Irish John Lydon - who I have huge time for - manic, crazy stare, doesn't suffer fools easily ain't the word and anti-hero/spokesman for MY generation) 20. Judy Is A Punk/Sheena Is A Punk Rocker - both the Ramones - hey ho lets go.... ....not a bad little selection again eh?......
