Saw Ronnie at Exeter Uni a few years ago. What an incredibly powerful voice from such a tiny man. Will be sorely missed. RIP RJD. |

...Agree, terribly sad news to hear of Ronnies' passing on up to the "Biggest Rock And Roll Party Ever".........
....my offering, from back in 1974.....
...."Love Is All" - actually listed as Roger Glover - however Ronnie provided the vocals on this one - off "The Butterfly Ball And The Grasshoppers' Feast" album.......
...RIP RJD - the greatest metal voice of 'em all.....

We are Jeff and Lynne.
We’ve just got off the Last Train to London. There was a little bit of Confusion but in the Twilight we saw the Tightrope and the Strange Magic. The Evil Woman tried to Turn us to Stone but we managed to get to a Telephone Line to call the Wild West Hero to save us.
We were now On The Run to Xanadu with Mr Blue Sky and some Living Thing via Eldorado. We hope to Shine A Little Love and Hold on Tight until we meet a Sweet Talking Woman. Please Don’t Bring Me Down because I keep a Diary for Horace Wimp. Perhaps we should not be So Serious because it ain’t no Showdown.
Let’s all enjoy a pie or Roll Over Beethoven with a pint or two. We could bop to a Rockaria for a Night in the City but Do Ya think we are Calling America? So, Here’s The News and Secret Messages , Rock and Roll is King.

Brilliant Stuart, so good in fact I'm going to give you a vote toward poster of the week. Only checking it quickly I spotted 41 and will have another look at it tomorrow.
Each one a classic from Evil Woman that happens to be the only song that gives me what I call a musical orgasm( check out the bit in the middle just as it is about to go back to the singing) to Eldorado.
