A bit of music to lead us into the weekend. The video being of particular interest as the opening shots are believed to have been filmed at Floridagull’s swimming pool. The video as a whole isn’t great as the majority of the budget was spent on constructing the biggest electric iron known to man. However, do look out for some goalmouth action from a young lad who quickly found himself lumbered with the nickname ‘The White Duku’, and of course that infamous scene near the end as filming had to be abruptly ended when Roland was blinded by a paper dart.

As Mr W seems to have been on the Rum again, and has probably fallen overboard, (which would account for him being AWOL for so long) I'm going to play something for him.
It's set in a Waitrose, so if he is on a Desert Island, at least he can think about food.
Allegedly, the girl got signed up by some music guy straight away...good on her.

It’s Ashworth Wot Won It !Has Jon Ashworth done enough damage to his own Party leader, to secure a victory for Boris ? If he has, then I’m sure BoJo will send Ashworth a bottle of champagne on Friday. I don’t know anyone called Ashworth, and off the top of my head can’t recall any footballing Ashworth’s either. But think of the great female singers of recent decades, Karen Carpenter, Diana Ross, Mari Wilson. I wonder if any other TFF members were in that Cornwall Coliseum crowd back in the 1980’s when Mari Wilson & The Wilsations came to town ? The programme cover had a houndstooth design, and there’s a slight chance it still survives in a dark recess of the attic at Alpine Towers. Recall some of the lyrics in the song most people connect with Mari : "I've got a mink from Paris, a ring from Rome, A whole new wardrobe in my home. A tune from Teddy, an Ashworth snap, These are the landmarks on my map. Many times over the years, I’ve wanted to settle my curiosity about who photographer ‘Ashworth’ is/was ? I remember going down to see a few bands in the eighties especially the only time i ever saw The Clash.... but heres some memories....
