Thanks Aussie, I am waiting to hear from Richard of any developments and Pete also knows of my concern that they wont be thrown out by the landlord without a thought to their welfare! Richard did say that they had a viewing on a property recently, but I'm not sure how things went (if the viewing happened at all bearing in mind Megans health recently). Hopefully we will hear something this week all being well.

I believe that the threatened eviction has been put off for a couple of months. Megan is doing fine at the moment and is recovering well from the infection that she had recently. Alternative therapy is making quite a difference to her, and she no longer has the NG tube that she had. This means that hopefully she wont run the risk of getting infections like she used to.
Richard and Lauren are coping well, and hopefully there will be some positive news about the house situation in the near future. Obviously the main priority in this families life is keeping Megan as well as possible. They know that we are here to help them. Will keep you all updated of any important stuff. Thanks Pete for your kind concern, and help.

How bout a chrity quiz or do to raise money for them to help pay rent/treatment, perhaps.
I know that there was one in an Ellacombe pub last sunday which raised over £1000 for the Ellacombe fire family and maybe we could do osmething similiar to that to help Megan and her family.
What do you think Dave?

Due to the amount of PM’s I have received about Megan, I feel it’s better to make a post rather than reply to every PM
Megan and her mum and dad have started to move out of their home and will be in their new home by Thursday. There have been some unbelievable things that have been going on lately that really scare me what is happening in this country.
The effect has seen the family retract from all those around them and it is felt we need to take a step back. Grahame is still hopeful he will be able to see Megan on Thursday and give her a birthday gift.
It is unknown where the family are moving too, but we wish them all the best and dearly hope life improves for them soon. We wish Megan good health and pray she will keep fighting and enjoy much more time with her mum and dad.

I bumped into Richard briefly yesterday, and the family have now moved from Decoy. Megan is doing fine and Richard and Lauren are just getting on with things as before. Now that they are in their new home, hopefully the pressure that they were under from the landlord and Rendells has gone and they will be able to concentrate on the things that really matter in their life, like taking care of their precious daughter, Megan. We are planning to meet up in the near future, and help each other where we can. On behalf of Megan and her family thank you to everyone who offered to help them with their move. I believe that everything is now taken care of and hopefully they will be able to celebrate Megans birthday properly and also have a nice Christmas in their new home.

Thanks for that really great news. Young Megan and your lad have really touched people's hearts, me included. Happy Christmas(and birthday on 19th) to one and all.
