After our recent excellent run and a few slip ups by leaders Burton the table looks a whole lot different and It makes not only this game but all our remaining games, must win games.
Come 5pm Saturday we will be in the same position as we are now, or in a much better position and dare I say it could be the case we find that we are in a worse position.
We still at this stage require other teams to drop points before our final game against Burton and all we can do is try and make sure we take all the points we can and who knows things may just work out in our favor and we could go up as champions.
That is still just a dream and we must take each game that is left as the come and Crawley need to be beaten up at Plainmoor.
I can see no real changes being made in the team for this game, it will be a case of if Dsane is fit will he start and Stevens go back to the bench? I feel despite a few lose passes he made he deserves to keep his place.
The back four needs to remain the same and this will mean Hodges being on the bench again, but its all about getting the result now and those who do not start or even make the bench will understand how important our remaining games are.
Make sure you get your voucher for the Burton game, that game could be a sell out or should the worst happen a game that gets under 2000.
I think we will win the game and keep our run going and I will keep my fingers crossed we get lucky again and see other results go our way.

With Crawley not playing in the week, having a Monday game will probably have helped us somewhat.
Stevens did impress, (not least his goal which had echo's of Green's against Forest Green at Plainmoor)and with a win needed, has made a strong case to retain his place. Injury excepted, the side should remain the same.
Two wins over the Easter weekend, may well put the title in our own hands and appropriately complete the resurrection of our chance to go up as champions.

I agree we should keep Danny on the left, Crawley's right side permitting. The ball he slid through for Wroe, the cross for Benyon and of course the goal are just what we need to unlock any defence. Same as we were for me, and unlike most on forums, I would consider myself a fan of what Roscoe has to offer.

Nailbiting days lie ahead of us. Crawley are a good team who have beaten us earlier in the season. Payback time. Only the sight of those two sad figures Steve Evans and Paul Raynor should provide maximum motivation for the players to beat them.
It ain't over 'til the fat lady sings!

Put Danny on the bench for this one, we need big lads on the pitch against Evans thug ball tactics.

In spite of my feelings about Dsane, feel he would be better starting than Danny. If only Dsane would have the confidence to run at defenders more, like he did in the 2nd half against Kettering. Otherwise would keep the same line-up.

This might have something to do with the torrents of abuse he suffers when he tries and fails to beat his man!! If you want your wide men to take on the opposing full back you have to accept that sometimes the full back will dispossess them and not get on their backs for failing to skin him every time!!

That would back up what I heard the Arsenal coaching staff telling my son the other week when encouraging players to seek to play their way through/past defences using their team mates (i.e.pass and move) that statistically only one in four attempts at "beating the fullback" are successful when attempted by the individual.

After my great new match experience last week and one where I got to enjoy not only great company, a great meal, but also the opportunity to talk with Alex Rowe and Mark Boyce, its back to how football is meant to be for me.
That means standing on the Popside where I have for all the years I have been a gulls fan. You can't beat standing up to watch a game and while some may feel its good to be up high, I just need to be near the half way line.
It seems Dsane is fit and I would expect he may get the nod over Danny Stevens and it looks like we have the whole squad to chose from.
Can't see Brough getting a start or even making the bench, but its good that he is back and may yet have a job to do for us.
Hard game but one I firmly believe we will win.

What is it that makes a man of my age still get excited about going to watch a team play and one I have watched for over 44 years? I don't know but I'm really looking forward to the game and saying hello to any members who I happen to see. I will do a match report as usual, but it will be a bit later today due to the fact that Ant is meeting Roscoe Dsane after the match as you may remember Ant sponsored him this season. Well you try stopping me being there as well Its a lovely sunny day here in Torbay and just right for playing football and that is what I hope I see, a good game of football. The result is still the most important thing and if its a scrappy game and we win with a fluke goal near the end, well that will do me just fine. its all about winning the games we have left and who knows, our season may just end on the biggest high the club has ever seen.

Normally i would agree with that, however with the Evans factor i have a different view. Not sure how i want the match to start, was thinking maybe even go a goal down, just to let Evans climb even higher so that when we go onto to win 6-1 he has been brought down from an even greater height. or, Score after 20 seconds and again after 2 minutes so that he suffers for a full 90 minutes, whilst scoring 4 more before the end. or, put petty grievances aside for 90 minutes and win with that scrappy 94th minute goal and suffer that knob telling the world and his wife how much better his side were, how they should have won 4-0, how lucky we were, how we pay our players a million quid a week to play for Truro etc etc I didn't realise how bitter and twisted i sounded. If he winds the players up half as much as us,then they will be really fired up. As long as we win i really don't care. COME ON YOU YELLOWS

Really hope we can ride this wave of form for a bit longer yet. We have been a class act for the last two matches at least as good as when we beat Blackpool and Greavsy in particular seems to have got a second wind. Looking forward to an entertaining and clown like performance from Raynor though I bet he plays a blinder.
