.......and yes, pricing AND purchasing HAS put off the casual punter, and big time into the equation! Absolutely, without a doubt. I think I mentioned it earlier in the thread, but I took several friends to Wembley last year who wanted a day out at the home of football because they were never going to get tickets to see their teams there because they either didn't get to a final or, if they did, it was impossible/extortionate to get a ticket. I asked the same lot this year and got the same result from each one: "Meh, we went last year." And it's totally understandable because at the end of the day they're not Torquay United fans. If I had not been to Wembley last year and we weren't in the final on Sunday, I'd almost certainly have gone along to the Stevenage -v- York game on Saturday as a neutral. I almost wish we hadn't got to the FA Trophy final last year. If we hadn't, I'd be surprised if our ticket sales for Sunday's match weren't double what they currently are.

All the tickets on sale at the club have now gone!! ................which just goes to show that is how to sell tickets quickly, in numbers and conveniently for the supporters. Brian Lee hang your head in shame on Sunday and then resign!

And a new batch is on it's way to Plainmoor according to the official site!
It probably will not be the last batch?

I can't see why members are surprised at Cambridge outselling us -they are one of two teams, Oxford being the other, who could guarantee to do that based on past support. I think the likes of Wrexham, Mansfield and maybe others would have done too - it's just something we Torquay fans have to live with. Let's just support the team, whatever !

Mine just arrived as well. I think I might go in the Histon end....it's sure to be quiet there. Sadly for the rest of us, it means Merse will be able to go to the ball, and in row 26 as well so he'll be reasonably 'on high' in a decent enough section of the ground!!

You're not the only one Pike, I got this message from my Cambridge-supporting friend:
"It's the biggest cock up ever. Loads of people on our message board are saying their groups have been separated. In some cases one person is on their own! We asked for level 2 and got level 1 (which has also happened to quite a few people). But it is down the side (block 125 row 39) so could be worse! I'm just amazed we have got 6 seats next to each other!"
