No I don't think that is the case Justin, as those who have bought on line or over the phone have no control where they will be sitting, those in power could fill this block up first.

Just thought that the club would insist on tickets with a good view of the game......perhaps they had no say like the rest of us! I also stupidly, bought my batch online beore any kind of seating choice was offered......thank god i went for the £35 option, just hoping for a decent seat now, like many others.

And as yet not a single person who has ordered tickets (phone or online) appears to have received them.
This is what they get for using a bloody American firm to deal with a British football match.
And there is no kind of protection anywhere if Cambridge fans decide they want a ticket in the Torquay end, should the Ambers sell out and we have plenty left (as seems highly likely).
Farce, shambles and disgraceful. The Conference should be ashamed.

...So the club has 1000 tickets for block 119. Pitchside, and in between the corner flag and 18 yrd line according to the wembley seating plan. It'll be like the away section at Bristol Rovers ! Do you think TUFC have just been given these tickets because they are probably the hardest to sell ?? Thought they were from the half-way line? If not this will certainly influence whether I que up for for tickets on Monday!

Thought they were from the half-way line? If not this will certainly influence whether I que up for for tickets on Monday! This just gets more ridiculous. The club says it has £30 and £35 tickets, yet only in block 119. I may be reading the seating plan wrong, but it appears to me that block 119 is lowest tier in the corner - surely they would all be £30, wouldn't they? I don't mind paying an extra £5 for a decent view, but can't see how block 119 can be a decent view. I half feel like "waiting to see" , but our postal service is so crap that I will feel very nervous ordering online next week. Is it possible to pay online and collect from Wembley?

If that is the case Mike then it can only mean the block is split from pitch side(£30) to the back rows of the block(£35) that would mean that any buying online tickets at £35 may well find they are sitting in a corner on the lower tier, only at the back of a block and not at the front of it.

Lots of good information on where to park.
Can anyone recommend somewhere to park close enough to the ground so that you can walk to it rather than take a tube/train.
I was working on the principal that with barely 20,000 people its hardly going to be chock a block on completion. Especially seeing as the 17,500 Cambridge fans will already have left before we lift the trophy ;D

I'd be grateful for some advice with regards to getting to Wembley - I was thinking about parking at Beaconsfield and getting the train from there directly to Wembley (Central Station?)- train tickets are cheap (by rip-off Britain standards!), are between 19 and 30 minutes in time direct to Wembley and Beaconsfield itself is apparently 8 miles from the M4 (driving from Devon so nice and easy), Are there any obvious flaws to that route? I've been advised by an Oxford fan so I want to make sure it's OK!! Beaconsfield - home of the world's oldest model village (one for Dave, I think) - is on the same line as Gerrards Cross, just a stop or two up the line away from London. Trains go to Wembley Stadium station. None of the three Wembley stations - Park, Central or Stadium (which are on three different lines) is particularly far from the stadium. See map for detail: This isn't to say that tufc01 doesn't have a point when he says that parking near Wembley and getting away afterwards might not be as difficult as feared. However - further to the earlier posting with train times - it now looks like extra trains will be running on the Marylebone-Wembley Stadium-Gerrards Cross/Beaconsfield/High Wycombe line. I've updated the details but do check www.nationalrail.co.uk nearer the date. The extra trains, of course, now make Marylebone-Wembley Stadium a good route from Central London.

WOW !!! Been catching up on all the threads and just read this one from start to now. Quite rightly emotions have been running high. Part of me agrees with the bite the bullet suggestion. We got to Wembley just be thankful for that and buy a ticket in the hope that its a good one, however i will also be extremely miffed if i get a shite seat with a poor view and will be like those who will be telling the stewards that i AM moving. I've just bought mine online and wasn't able to choose the section, like i thought i might have been able to.

I do fully agree and maybe its best to really concentrate on the important thing and that is the match and getting back into the football league. Unless the tide turns. Rubbish ticketing arrangements. I sat in Block119 last year. It's crap. Don't buy from the Club shop.

Hmmmn... Being looked at like a freak for acknowledging Hilly's record by people who probably had never been to Plainmoor. Cut off from the main body of Gulls.
Not my bag, stuart.
