crispygull your post does make perfect sense and while I would agree Woods might have been unhappy with what he was told, I still feel that he would not have been a bad influence in the dressing room and suggest that by removing him it has done more harm than any good letting him see the season out, well thats my view.

We all know you don't like Steve Woods, but the real people who do know him, his fellow players and mates, sure feel he is a decent bloke and I for one would trust their views over someone who can't let go of something that happened in a carpark such a long time ago. I've warned you before that if you can't rise above the level of the stupid and the idiotic you'll get no debate from me. Once again you descend to the shite pit of the Enzos and the others who think that the way to debate is to constantly throw "custard pies" based on innuendo and totally fail to bring to the table any evidence of quote that your stupid accusations infer. "Not like" does not equate to "doesn't rate". Ignorance and abuse from a person's family does not equate to "an incident" with another member of that family. Grow up, learn to post in less laughable English and enjoy ducking the sweeties thrown in your direction the next time you visit Plainmoor.....................it's about your childish limit.

Perhaps he'll go out on loan to Barrow like your other favourite player just has, merse! At the age of just 26, McHeavily's career goes down the toilet of the unfit and undisciplined. I hope someone has told Mark Ellis - he owes the big fat yob a "Glasgow Kiss" when we go up to Holker Street...................that's if Fat Boy holds his place there which on current evidence seems doubtful!

Merse you say "Not like" does not equate to "doesn't rate".
You sure have made it clear before you don't like him and sorry but when have you ever rated him, you have slagged the bloke off for years on forums and the reference to your carpark incident was only made to show that your views on Woods are tarnished because of it.
As regards to my laughable English maybe I should have stayed on at school to take my A levels and should not have joined the Navy at 15 years old, but most find that I can communicate just fine with them.
it's about your childish limit. trust me I'm very grown up and well respect as a person, but then when it has been shown that your views are tarnished you can only lower yourself to personal insult, its no real problem as I'm a big enough man to rise far above it.

It's a real struggle debating with you Dave as your command of English is so poor at times as is your ability to separate what is posted and what you would like to believe is posted. Do you know the meaning of "equate" no? consult a dictionary then, there's one on Google. In simple terms, I neither dislike nor like him; I don't know him and as far as my rating him as a player it's totally irrelevant....................and no, I don't particularly rate him. That's not the issue though, whether I rate him or not. The manager has up until now, but he doesn't wish to retain him for the future and no longer wishes to use him for the present. That is what is relevant and those are the FACTS, get used to them and move on.

"Not like" does not equate to "doesn't rate". That sentence could be taken both ways, maybe you should not post anything that is not crystal clear, it would just save such confusion. As it seems a day of warnings, I would warn you not to try and belittle me on the forum with claims that I have poor English, my views are always honest and unbiased, maybe its time I switched the forum warning system on.

Is that anything like my favourite filter that stops me posting the word one handed self lover? No nothing like that aussie ;D the forum does have a warning system built into it, but it will never ever be turned on, if it was then a level could be set and when anyone reached it, they would be barred for so many days depending on what it was set too. As only staff could use it, I would not ever consider turning it on, but I could and make Merse a staff member, I'm sure I would then be the first one to reach the set level.

As it seems a day of warnings, I would warn you not to try and belittle me on the forum with claims that I have poor English, I cannot be held responsible for other's inability to understand that which is perfectly unambiguous to me. As for your warning I would appreciate you not interpreting a conversation I once had with two other players - Kevin Hill and Matt Hockley (yes, in a car park) being rudely interrupted by the family of another player (Steve Woods) who's only contribution to the whole event was to fire off a response to another supporter (Romford Kev)........................not me! Steve Woods and I have never had a conversation, got it? Good!

Might I point you towards Greavies blog tonight for a further insight about how he feels about centre halves.
He was clearly extremely pleased to have Toddy back (on and off the pitch) - perhaps far moreso than any concern over losing Steve Woods - for whom he simply offered the nomal adios platitudes in his earlier post.
With Toddy there clearly seems more genuine concern/relief/approval/pleasure.

Actually, the English language used by the "skeleton at the keyboard" is not so hot either, viz: ...you not interpreting... should in fact be ...your not interpreting... who's what is that ? Does he mean whose ? Having been a contributor to this board and to the "other one" for the past 10 years, I am certain that I have never encountered such an arrogant outlook as that displayed by Mr Merson. It's such a pity that his frequent offerings of interesting information are sullied by his overbearing, know-it-all attitude.

Over the last few weeks a combination of holidays, changing jobs and general family life have meant my contact on this forum has been limited, I try to keep up but it just runs away with you. So this morning at 8 (on a sunday!) I woke and decided to scroll through the last few days. I come to this and read the last dozen or so postings and realise that everything is right in the world. Thanks everyone for making me smile.
