Andy, I believe from friends at St James' Park that Buckle and Phillips were good friends when they were together at that club up the road, but that soon changed early in their relationship at Plainmoor, for reasons our manager could not understand.
I would rather say no more!

I would rather say no more! I often see lee phillips' facebook status saying things like "lee is wishing bucks and the lads good luck" just before the cov game. Would he bother writing that if he didn't get on with buckle?

I was wondering whether i should bother replying to merse's stupid remark. It's a bit like smacking a puppy for crapping on your new carpet. It doesn't understand and will probably do it again so is there any point? Merse's judgement has always been questionable. You only have to look at his stance on Chris Roberts. But then again every time he fills in a betting slip it's doubtful he would know what he's doing. So, on balance I think i'll leave it there.

All i'll say is that when I was at school I had a good friend who went off with another group of boys... I got sulky and petulant and stormed off only to regret it sometime later when I realised that the situation wasn't going to change. The friend was never more than amicable with me and still made conversation but made it clear that although he liked me my behaviour had changed the way he considered our friendship. Realising i'd been a t**t and was now out in the cold I then started what can only be described as creeping... Telling everyone what a really good guy my mate was, inviting him and his 'new' friends to my birthday party, posting on the notice board a good luck message for his teams upcoming school hockey match and generally trying to get myself back into the fold. Familiar?

Reading the HE today I can only say shame on Weymouth and shame on the Football Conference for postponing the game. They could have travelled up but not back according to a spokesman of the buscompany.
Our club even offered to find them cheap accomodation for the night. Wrong decision to call the game off by the FC if you asked me.
If Weymouth can't afford to play an awaygame then they should be trown out of this league.
