Da Silva, apparently MOM at Chelmsford gets dropped to the bench and must be feeling a little unfortunate.
I get the impression the manager feels obligated to play his latest loan.
No sign whatsoever of Lapslie, Hall who may well have played his final game at this level or Dawson, Ash. Jarvis sounds like he's still miles away.
Will we be seeing our main attack force any time soon?
Will Jarvis play again this season? Its a very familiar story being played out and always at this important point of the season.
I still feel that until the central defensive issues are sorted we will continue to concede goals with our open play.
If we are ineffective up top and don't score we lose as we did on Saturday.
Always been the managers philosophy I guess.

I can only congratulate Truro for this result.
Tactically they got it right by realising our weak early game form and sluggishness, our aerial weaknesses and then defending and frustrating with passion.

Nothing much has changed from the inconsistent early season other than we're are considerably weaker through the countless injuries than we were and struggling for form and results.

13 points adrift now of Yeovil who do appear too have got things right since their relegation and look certs for a swift return.
The rest including ourselves are so inconsistent the play off group could consist of any team from a long list.

What is apparent is thats this moment in time we're nowhere near good enough to get back up.

A new low point ?
Maybe but I reckon there will be plenty more lows to come because nothing of any substance is going to change as the injury list continues to grow.

Yes, Torquay are certainly giving when it comes to hitting new lows.

The nadir was, I thought, going to be losing to Taunton but the rain saved that particular humiliation so I had a feeling it might come today but even so, I’m still staggered and in shock that we have sunk so low, become so inept that I’m not surprised we have lost to Truro City.

How is this even possible? Certainly the lowest point in my time supporting Torquay for 44 years and yet I fear worse is to come when they do the double over us on Saturday.

I appreciate it may seem disrespectful to Truro but really, we shouldn’t even be on the same pitch as them, letting alone being deservedly beaten by them.

Seeing people clap the team off after that seems perverse to me. The more supporters clap that shit off the pitch, the more often you’ll see it.

Need to get their own ground sorted before anything else. Ground sharing with a Western League club on a pitch already susceptible to waterlogging is not sustainable in the long term.

It is no surprise our return fixture on Saturday is off. Still at least we won't lose this weekend! 😉
