No doubt we will use the time to bring in more loan signings.🤣 Or knobble more players in training.

Doesn't really matter what league Plymouth Parkway is in as that is not the point. It is ground sharing a dodgy pitch with another club in a senior league. ⚽️

Ten days off over what is usually a very challenging Christmas period should be very advantageous to us;chance for players carrying injuries to rest and recuperate;those with longer-term ones to step up their fitness programmes with the physio;more time for training sessions to concentrate on our (many) weaknesses and vulnerabilities; time to watch forthcoming opposition teams and formulate suitable tactics to beat them.
Expect a refreshed and revitalised team(with maybe a new signing or two), ready to overpower Eastbourne on Saturday week (not too much to ask for surely?)

Truro could be a club which is going places. Recently bought by a Canadian consortium....they have ambition and a decent manager. Just to play devil's advocate: from a distance you could have said the same about us a couple of years ago. Sadly, the English football landscape is littered with clubs under foreign ownership who are losing significant amounts of money. Reading, Morecambe, Swindon Town, West Brom, Sheffield Wednesday; the list goes on and on. I see that Darragh MacAnthony has bought back a large majority of the shares in Peterborough United that had been owned by Canadian company Kelgarry Sport and Entertainment. The lure of a stake in English football is massive, the negative consequences of getting it wrong equally so. Stefano is right to point to the geographical location and facilities as being a major red flag (combined: they are obviously a red flag each. ). It will take millions to get Truro City to EFL standard, and what other reason is there to invest in a football club in this country than to get to the EFL where you could start to get a return on investment?
