There still looks to be over 500 seats avaliable for tommorows home Southampton friendly so i think the club have judged it just about right Strongly disagree...i I think we would have retained most of the home support after the excellent performances against Plymouth and Exeter. We will never know how many might have attended if the club changed its policy of discouraging support. Disagree ! As i said there is plenty of room for anyone who wants to go this afternoon and it will be interesting to see if it fills up later. And i am sure like many others not getting influenced by a couple of pre season performances. |

And i am sure like many others not getting influenced by a couple of pre season performances. As I said, we will never know how many would have turned up if the Popside was open. There will be some last minute roll up, but the club actively discourages that. We get the hardcore supporters who plan their lives around TUFC, but are not welcoming to the floating soft core.. The reasoning that if there are 2,000 spaces then the crowd will be the same as there would not have been more than 2,000 anyway is fundamentally flawed. What nobody at the club seems to understand is that people are not coming to watch technically excellent football where any seat will do so as not to miss the first rate entertainment. The social element of the afternoon is massive. Remove or damage that and you WILL lose custom. But we will never know how much revenue we have lost. |

Well, the team lost today and, in some ways, we were found out and found wanting by an energetic and sharp team. However, they were as frail as we were at the back and we had one mysteriously denied for offside before they had scored. We had more chances too but couldn't find the net more than once.
