Another tough game against a fancied Wrexham side and would take the draw again that we got last time we visited. I will be in South Wales today on part 2 of uni run but will be back this evening to catch up on all things post match. TUFC match preview |

Many among us will remember The Blob, no no not the girl we’d pick up on a Friday night at the Golden Butterfly, but the film. The Blob would push its way under doors and through windows…and the film was just as bad!
This is how our current situation feels, you can feel the despair seeping out of t’internet, out of the very tablet screen and you know there’s nothing you can do to hide from it! 🫣

As Dave Thomas ponders whether we may switch to 4-4-2, those of us who noticed we switched to 4-4-2 a few games ago are wondering whether we will switch back to a back three in order to help stem a likely bombardment.
With Moxey out, I would not be surprised to see Asa Hall slot in between Marshall and Omar.
With Crowe and Wyatt underwhelming at wing-back, maybe Evans and Martin may be tried there.
Would prefer Evans in the more advanced midfield role ahead of a solid two - hopefully two from Lapslie, Donnellan and Wyatt - or the new lad from Wigan if confirmed.
Hanson and McGavin not in my good books at the moment.
Was not at the Plymouth game pre-season but heard our midfield in that game was as much use as a chocolate teapot. I was surprised as I felt that Hanson, Donnellan and McGavin looked solid signings and hoped that Argyle’s extra class was the cause.
Have since seen our midfield disappear too many times. If we let that happen against Wrexham, we will be in for a right thrashing.
Being an optimist, I hope we get a grip and pull off a heroic victory. Time for my medication.

Andrews missing from 16, Jarvis starts.
Halstead starts.
Smith and Donnellan replace Wyatt and Hanson.
My guess is Hall in middle of back three, but could be 4-4-2 or even Donnellan in back three.
Lapslie on bench with Lovett, Tomlinson, Wyatt and McGavin.

An easy three points.
Smith starts - no doubt a condition of the loan is that he gets starts. Andrews also drops out, I imagine is not fit after taking a knock last week.
Quite a few changes and opting for more solidity and good to see Lapslie on the bench . I hope hes fit unlike his last start that lasted just a few minutes.

Got Radio Devon with BT Sport on mute. They seem to have action from games other than the main one - just shown a Notts County goal. Wonder if they will have all the goals from the Racecourse.
