I am sure the result was mainly due to our lethargic performance (according to Gritts on the co-comm), but not helped by the formation.
Just one outfield change -Danny Wright for Asa Hall.
That meant Little no longer had freedom to roam but had to play a more withdrawn role. Lolos has looked o.k. running the channels up front, but doesn't have the quality to take advantage of the free role as a Little or a Lemon could.
Desperately short of options with just 15 fit bodies, but I would have put Perritt right wing-back, played Sparkes centre-midfiled, left Little in the hole and Lolos on the bench - ready to give Armstrong a rest.
Really hope Hall was just rested and will be back Boxing Day. He won't be out for weeks again - will he?
Otherwise, Felix could play centre-midfield or Johnson or Lemon. Or Moore or O'Connell wing back with Sparkes centre-mid. At least one of that lot must be fit surely!
