Hearing that season ticket holders could buy up to 6 tickets for the final ! I should imagine that familiar old telephone number is going to be rather busy tomorrow morning. Good luck to the rest of us hoping to get a ticket for Sunday....i think we are going to need it ! I could be wrong but I don’t think that is right. My understanding is that anyone buying more than one had to give the names of the season ticket holders they were buying for.

I have 5 family STH,s on my account, bought 4 and used drop down menu to allocate ticket to each family member so don’t think could have bought more than 5 online. Good luck today to everyone trying to get a ticket! 1700 fans did the club proud on Saturday, need same level of support and important that we sell out. With COVID-19 around, not everyone who would go in normal times will go so hope most will be able to get a ticket.

I echo Rob in wishing our regular supporters luck in securing a ticket.
Nearly double the number available for the semi and some not able to travel, but on the other hand expect a higher uptake from exiles.
I expect us to sell out but hope there will not be too many deserving cases disappointed.
Would be great if we could handpick the most deserving 3,100 but you would need the wisdom of Solomon to sort that even if you had the time and resources to try it.

Predicting I'm going to miss out yet again. Just not enough capacity for the most signifcant and important game in recent times. Totally wrong.

I dont blame the club, the stadium is just to small and the restriction on numbers a complete load of bollocks when you look at the cricket crowds at Edgbaston last week. Theres something wrong somewhere . Will be watching and cheering from the sofa I guess. Enjoy the day and hopefully the victory we all crave.

I am sure that the Torquay office staff will be well aware of Hartlepool fans booking on our website this morning. I realise we have exciles all over the country but 40-50 Hartlepool postcodes will surely raise an eyebrow. Simply refund those and give the Torquay fans on the standby list a call please.

The whole business over ticket allocation is unfortunate but I don't think you can blame anyone, especially the club, it was just two factors coming together to create a perfect storm. The first was reduced capacity due to pandemic, nobodies fault really. The second, and this seems to be forgotten by people slagging off the choice of Ashton Gate, is the unavailability of Wembley stadium. If the FA hadn't chosen to offer Wembley as a Euro 2020 venue the play-off final would have been there and there would plenty of spare tickets for everyone. I suppose then if anyone's to blame its the FA with their obsession of hosting a major finals. Then again you could blame the Turks because if they hadn't decided to canvass for the 2020 Olympics as well as the euros, Euro 2020/1 would now be taking place in Turkey. Anyway I didn't even bother to apply for a ticket for either last weekend or Sunday on the grounds I've broken my sodding ankle so I'll just have to try and find a pub within hobbling distance that's showing the game.

link – The club thank the yellow army in buying play-off final tickets including those who were unsuccessful. Interesting that they are looking into allegations that some Hartlepool supporters managed to buy tickets and if found to be the case will refund these tickets and sell them on to our supporters. Might be worth calling the club and putting your name down in case this happens………

It seems to be the height (or depths) of moronic brain dead stupidity that some Hartlepool supporters may have done this and then went bragging about it on social media for all to hear.

I had a call from the Club earlier to check I am a Torquay supporter by asking me questions. Hopefully they will weed out any opposition fans and redistribute their tickets.

Without going into detail, she asked me about certain features of the “Plainmoor experience “. I was also able to tell her my name is in the list of the advanced subscribers list in the Centenary history of the Club 🙂
