After 2 wins this week and a first half performance on Tuesday where we seemed to be back to our best we can at least approach this game with a degree of confidence. After the manner of our Plainmoor defeat where we lost despite dominating the game I am sure there is the element of getting a measure of revenge.
Dagenham are on a fairly good run of form, playing 6 games in March, winning 3 and only losing once, narrowly 0-1 to Hartlepool at home on Tuesday so this will be a tough one.
After playing the same side for 2 games and getting 2 wins then it is very hard not to see Johnson playing the same side and no pressure on either Moxey or Wright to rush back but an appearance on the subs bench cannot be too far away which will be a welcome sight.

FORECAST: Dagenham 6 Torquay 0 ⚽️ Cannot wait to see Benji in action, surely worth a goal or two for the good guys?

D&G much fancied pre-season but have, like a few others, under performed and will be dangerous opposition. If we're good enough well get something and I see this as a pivotal game just before the Easter program and the Sutton crunch game in a few weeks time. The new lad looks to be a good signing but we've been here before with false dawns though I do see him as a player with some flare, something we have been desperately missing going forward. Would love to see one or two more of our big guns returning but see this as an indicator of possible setbacks for Nemane and Whitfield. Cameron, who also offers our best aerial threat at set pieces,(no news whatsoever) Wright and Moxey returning soon would be a huge bonus though.
Again we need to show some fight, game mange when needed and be at our best with the players available to get anything from this one.

An unchanged team would not be the end of the world- which is always a good starting point. Will the new man start or be introduced from the bench? If he starts - alongside Boden or instead of?
Have we heard definite news of Whitfield? We sort of assume all absences will be weeks and weeks but is this confirmed? Andrew deserves to stay wide left anyway, but would love to have Whitfield either wide right or up front alongside Boden or the new man.
It has been so exciting having four defenders fit that you can forget that three of the four are really "development players". That lack of experience will catch us out sooner or later. Would love to have Moxey at left-centre-back as that would also solve the imbalance of three right footers. We have missed Cameron's ability to slip over and cover behind the left back - a role Moxey could comfortably fill. May be too soon for him. Easter Monday at Wrexham will be a game where we will be desperate for that experience at the back.

Could have had 2 penalties. Just seen a photo that CLE took the ball past their keeper who then went into him. Also their commo called handball in the pen in their area.

The kind of game where if you win it 1-0 it’s a great performance and if you lose it 1-0 it’s a terrible performance.

CLE seems always afraid to shoot - so frustrating. Think we may see the new man sooner rather than later seem back to our old punchless ways
