With only seven out of the last 16 teams left in the competition in the National league, the chance of actually completing this competition remains very much in doubt, it is even feasible if enough responses come back about closing the season that this game will be off.
Assuming this game will be on, I think it is a chance to rest a few players and give an opportunity for others to stake their claim. Wynter has been out for 2 months but has been training for a couple of weeks, is this a chance to get some game time under his belt? Would like to see Sheaf get 90 minutes in midfield, maybe along with Little and perhaps try 2 up front from the start.
Southport beat Halifax away in the last round but think this is their only match since Boxing Day. Fresh or rusty?

My only thoughts on this game, apart from questioning the wisdom of playing it in the first case, are if GJ is so intent on experimenting with formations, why didn't he leave until Saturday instead of doing it against Altrincham?

If we get half, then so will I, despite my thoughts on this year’s competition still continuing before the 2020 Final has been played and with some sides, including Southport, talking about drawing the season to a close immediately. Had thought about not bothering for once, but probably would have relented around 2.30 Saturday, buying a virtual coffee and nipping into the virtual Popside loo before walking up the virtual steps turning left and listening to virtual ‘Children’ while sorting payment on the website, anyway. That said, I’d be a virtual few hundred miles away from Haig Avenue in that scenario.

Will be interesting to see who plays.
Again, I think the Trophy will be used primarily to get minutes into the legs of those who need minutes on the pitch - and an opportunity to rest those who have played too much football. Result not unimportant, but secondary to that.
May be a bit early for Wynter, but would be nice to see him get an hour. Less important than a league game if he is a little off the pace performance wise - as long as we don't jeopardise his full recovery by pushing it too far. Would not expect him to play next Tuesday.
I expect Street or Umerah will start up front with Waters just behind. It may well be that the one who does not start is in pole position to start on Tuesday. As Street has more still to learn I would go with him in the Trophy and bring back Josh for Wealdstone.
I would definitely leave Moxey and Hall at home. Would like to see Cameron, Lemonheigh-Evans (less vital if banned on Tuesday), Nemane and Whitfield rested if possible. If L-E's ban starts on Tuesday, I expect Little to be left out at Southport ready to play in the hole v Wealdstone.

A chance for GJ to play one or to who haven't had enough pitch time and to rest the ones that have or who have injury niggles that need to freshen up.
Other than the financial reward I see the competition as more of an unwanted distraction. Our priority has to be promotion but expect GJ to pick a strong starting eleven.
Even a Wembley trip would be pretty irrelevant for fans this year though I would guess the players and manager would still relish a chance to play on the hallowed turf.

Likewise. Today I am really keen that bit part players/returners of recent such as Umerah, Warren, Sheaf, Wynter, Andrews, Waters, Street all get some good game time. Maybe Buse if Chippenham are giving up on their season to give another midfielder a rest? And the youngsters, Slough, Price and Koszela.

Ref having a second look, got a bad feeling about this. Please don’t let Tuesday be punted off for this crap. Twice into a South African variant hotspot against a team that wants to end its League now in a Competition where last years final not played yet is not what we need to lose another League fixture for on Tuesday night.
