Unfortunately I don't think taking Umerah off was a precaution Jon, looked like another hamstring to me, could be out for a few weeks. Think you are right. Was experimenting with the power of positive thinking - but didn’t even convince myself. Just a dead leg according to GJ. My positive thinking may have paid off. I should try it more often. |

The only thing that was going to drag me back this month was this so called competition.
We cannot put two league wins together, and our form is going down the shitter faster than one of my dumps after a Mrs Register curry night! But ‘hey ho’ we’re still in the most pointless competition that was ever invented by mortal man! People are asking who are we playing next...is it the semi or quarter...oh how wonderful we are for beating a team who don’t even want to be playing football anymore this season, let alone this pathetic competition. What they should be asking is...why is there even a thread for this match/competition?
We’re going to lose the top prize (we’ve already lost the plot) and end up with the booby prize. Oh, and you’re right petef, the site does deserve tj at the moment! Now if you think not winning this league is amazing, even more amazing is the fact that some people will still be enthralled with this competition yet again next season!
I do apologise Setefano if you have opened yet another celebratory bottle of wine for nothing. I promise I won’t be back until March...wait a minute, we have to relive this insanity again in two weeks...put the other bottle on ice. 🎩

Johnson has already said he's going for the double - and he's the manager! I presume they will have the semi finals over two legs again. Glad we have a few games already under our belts compared to some of our League rivals. A win is a win. Can’t get excited about it, but it was nice to see some football earlier. Parmenter didn’t fancy his lot playing again today, I see. Waterlogged on the side of that hill this time. |
