Whatever the outcome by the National League of funding for the rest of the season, it seems that both this match and the Sutton games will be on. After losing in the manner we did away at Yeovil and having that hanging over us for a couple of weeks, what a difference it makes going into this game on the back of a four nil away win!
Notts County have had a frustrating time recently only playing two games since Christmas - a 1-0 defeat by Hartlepool on 28th December in which Ben Turner got a straight red and thus will not be featuring against us and the FA Trophy 2-1 win last Saturday against Stockport. Funny enough, their manager rested a number of his senior players for that game in anticipation of playing Yeovil on Tuesday which was subsequently cancelled and then us of course. Whether that makes them a bit undercooked remains to be seen.
This time last year, Johnson was struggling to find 11 fit players to send out onto the pitch and what a different situation we are in with some genuinely difficult selection choices to make. With Street and Sheaf yet to feature, Waters looking sharp and Little back, just getting into the match day squad will be an achievement......

Two big games coming up and I'd settle for a point from each one.

link - just reading this Dave Thomas article and seems Asa went off as a precaution with a tight calf hence why Street did not get on.

Just signed up for the streaming, starts at 2:40 pm. Bit of snow forecast for Nottinghamshire this morning but dry this afternoon. It helps having no health and safety issues with no spectators so assuming the game will be on.

Signed up and really looking forward to this one.
I reckon Meadow Lane is the football ground I have visited most other than Plainmoor.
Will be a real test for our back four. Hope we can rise to that challenge and exploit the space a team setting out to beat us will leave to play our Champions’ football.
Must win for County. If we win this, we will really be looking like Champions.
Come on You Yellows!

link - Sheaf for Asa and Waters for Umerah. Hall is a massive miss. Surprised we did not take him off earlier on Tuesday to manage his pitch time. Huge responsibility on Randell to hold the midfield. Will Sheaf slot in next to him or will Lemonheigh-Evans drop deeper? I’m a lot less optimistic without Asa, but let’s hope I am pleasantly surprised.

Big miss is Hall but plenty of talent to cover for him. Tough challenge this one good manager and a big club that feel they should be back playing league football.

Enjoyed that. Very competitive game between two well-matched teams. 0-0 half time is good for us. They will feel the need to gamble in the second half.
Big ask to expect two youngsters to play together in centre-midfield. Had never seen Sheaf play but thought he was very much an attacking midfielder. He knuckled down and played a mature disciplined game.
Let’s see what the second half brings.

Good quality first half - could go either way.

Good quality first half - could go either way. Or neither. Tough game with chances at a premium and probably a fair result.
