I see Boreham Wood have been turned down for a Winter Survival Loan, and they say probably with some justification that they feel they were misled by the authorities (football and government) as it was indicated before they voted to continue the season that they would get this loan.
The National League Management Board seem a bit of a basket case! When the hell are they going to take action about Dover? Fans are calculating their own league tables based on various assumptions, but when are the people actually responsible for it going to wake up so that all clubs know where they stand! The decision affects all clubs not just Dover!
Lots of twists and turns yet.....⚽️

That is indeed quite an alarming turn of events.
Like you, I’ve already seen a points per game table on the internet put out by a Sutton fan.
Dover need dealing with. The void allows the Kings Lynn bloke to say ‘yeah we might stop, yeah we might carry on’ messages with nobody the wiser.
Clubs below have managed to agree on a proposal to have a mini-League in the time it has taken one body, the National League, to deal with (or not as the case is) Dover.

I've been surprised by the foot dragging from the NL board. The longer they leave it, the more likely other clubs may decide to follow Dover's lead and that will result in serious dilemma for the league. It would simplify things if the league got on with it and expelled Dover whilst sending a message to the other clubs as to what they can expect.

The two Issues may go hand in hand together. I’d have no issue with two promoted from that and Dover relegated to get NL back to 24. Whilst it must be tempting, I would be surprised if they go with the ‘Jon formula’.

It was essentially a version of what those clubs who wish to continue in NLS and NLN are currently proposing.

Well surely this evening we will be knocked off our perch at the top of the table which we have been enjoying since early season.
No game for us but the 2 teams who can overtake us Sutton and Hartlepool are both playing and both only need a draw to go above us. Both have difficult games mind.
Sutton are at home to Yeovil who are only 3 points off the play off places. Yeovil had made a miserable start to the season but recently put a good run together until they came crashing down to earth at the weekend with a 3-0 defeat at Chesterfield.
Hartlepool have a tougher fixture away to Altrincham who are also eyeing up the play off places being only 2 points adrift. Hartlepool had a good away win at the weekend and we all know where but I didn't think they looked all that special.
I will have a stab at a prediction....Sutton to draw and go top, Hartlepool to lose and stay 3rd.
Of course the National League Board could knock us off the top this morning by waking up and sorting the Dover situation out! ⚽️
