Yes Pete. We always looked like scoring with Nemane one side and Whitfield the other and Wright holding it all together through the middle.
Does not look like we will see Nemane again this season, but hopeful of Whitfield and Wright for the play-offs.
Would love to put Randell back in the centre with Hall, Whitfield right, Andrews left and the Lemon free behind Wright.
If that front six were all fit, I would be quietly confident about our chances against anyone in this league.

. We stretched ourselves yesterday and left big holes in midfield chasing goals and it backfired. With Andrews pressing forward and Randell still doing his best as a winger it left Asa Hall with his lack of pace pretty exposed especially as Little was losing possession easily and not on his game. We simply looked over run on occasions... This has been a problem which I have noticed in many of the games which I have watched since Aaron Nemane was lost to injury, in addition to the absence of Danny Wright and Ben Whitfield. The decision to ask Adam Randell to cover that position has, in my opinion, drastically weakened the centre of midfield. Asa Hall has done a sterling job, given his age, in trying to hold it together, and has also contributed some vital goals. Armani Little, on the other hand, perhaps due to several injuries but also perhaps not, has looked a shadow of the player we anticipated he would be a couple of years ago, and it would not surprise me if he were not retained. Randell's ability and energy has been sadly missed along side Asa, and you are right to say that we have often been overrun in that area, even by teams like Barnet. I feel that it is essential that he should revert to that position for our last two or three games. One solution would be to push Ben Wynter forward permanently and have a back four of Lewis, Warren (if Sherring unfit), Cameron and Moxey. I don't agree with other people that certain players should be "rested" as we are sure of second place. Another draw (at Altrincham) would dent the confidence of the team as a whole even further, and we need to approach the play offs in as high a mood as possible. The age-old assertion that impetus is vital is not a myth.

Interesting couple of games this evening Altrincham v Eastleigh and Kings Lynn v Solihull Moors.
Both Eastleigh in 9th place and Solihull Moors incredibly in 11th place can still make it into the top 7 play off places.
It seems unlikely for Solihull as it would need two wins and other results going right for them. Eastleigh though would be there with two wins, possibly moving above Notts County and also potential semi-final opponents at Plainmoor.
Gives Solihull Moors v Eastleigh a bit of an edge on Saturday. ⚽️

Depending on their result tonight, though, Eastleigh seem almost certain to get into the top 7. Notts County v Bromley will be another key game. Thank goodness our 2nd place is already secure.

Good spot! Far too many permutations for me to take it all in. Cancel my post and put it in the totally irrelevant bin! 😂🤣⚽️
