I see the Yeovil Town game is off again today following the death of their captain. I do fully appreciate the tragic and very sad circumstances of his death, but am not sure about the club still not playing. It was right to postpone the game scheduled for the following day as a mark of respect, but how long should that continue? People in many different jobs have had work colleagues die in similar circumstances but have had to carry on.
A very very sad and tragic case and a massive shock and loss to his family and friends and to his club.

13 points clear of eighth place now. Wrexham's collapse amid their own injury crisis is almost as remarkable as our own. A week before our game at the Racecourse I was fearing the worst, what with Wrexham being the in form side, now they appear to be in free fall. What with it being April it is easy to forget there is still nearly a quarter of the season to go and we have as much chance as anyone as long as Stefano remembers to rubbish our chances before each match. |

link - doesn’t effect us but Saturday’s game in the National League are to kick off at the earlier time of 12:30pm.

The 10 points lead for Sutton United over us with 13 games to go is reminiscent of the Woking lead over us 2 seasons ago, and we know what happened there. Sutton will feel the pressure at some point and implode. All we have to do is win our games to catch them. Sounds simple when put like that! 😉⚽️ Well that didn't take very long! 👍😉⚽️ |

Looking quite good in the early games at half-time:
Chesterfield 0-1 down at home to Bromley
Notts County 0-1 down at home to Eastleigh
Stockport 1-1 at home to Maidenhead
Hartlepool look a worry a convincing 3-0 up away to Wealdstone. We have got 3 games in hand though and only 4 points behind.
Wrexham winning as well 1-0 at Woking
🏉 In other news: Exeter Chiefs 10 Wasps 13.
On Channel 5 now could be a cracking second half 🏉

A well deserved day off for us.
Let’s hope Hall and Wright rest their ageing bones after last Tuesdays exertions in order to be raring to go again next Tuesday.
Five games in two weeks coming up Tuesday Saturday Tuesday Saturday Monday. Will be good to have a few more fit and available for that run.
Perm any four from five at the back. I would always start Cameron at left centre back but he seems comfortable now at left back if needed.
Once we get Whitfield and Kimpioka back we will have some real bench options. Too much pressure at the moment to keep Wright on for too long as you don’t feel Boden or Waters can inject the extra energy we need if chasing three points.
Lovely to have a day NOT watching a stream. Beautiful morning and we diverted from our Coffinswell walk to come home via the Hare. Cheese sandwich, chips and a pint of Jail in the astroturfed garden. Small pleasures seem so much greater when you have forgotten how to take them for granted.
Halifax Kings Lynn on BT of no direct interest to us, sp nice to have a coffee in the garden. Sutton not playing until later. Hartlepool 3-0 up at half-time, Stockport drawing, Chesterfield and Notts County losing. Be great if the scores stayed like that.
Stefano, don’t waste time watching a silly sport. Enjoy the sunshine.
