Man of the people Fartage offered peerage 48 hours before standing his candidates down. Turned it down for now, he says. I was only half joking, but these are the crooked times we are living in since 2016, I suppose.

If that 'suppressed' report eventually gets released and reveals our Nige has been awarded the 'Order Of Lenin' by the Russians, you'd be up in arms about that, yet when Britain attempts to recognise one of it's greatest patriotic politicians of modern times with a well deserved peerage, there's something to find fault about with that too. Anyway, here's a joke

If the Russia report shows either Farage or Johnson in the pay of Putin I would not be up in arms, I would be pissing myself laughing at the thought of all the little Englanders who have been sold a lemon.

I think you might have got AJ's meaning mixed up there Pete, it was actually an innuendo, and I don't mean what that guy asked if he could do to you in the pub last night!

Presume that’s an old video invoking slavery language on that tweet as Lord Snooty has effectively been muzzled after his repulsive Grenfell comments, hasn’t he? An interesting and balanced polling analysis piece below based on an interview with John Curtice. Corbyn getting an overall majority assessed at close to zero percent. And some observations regarding Leave (48%) and Remain (52%) voting almost matching the 47-53 split presently, the unpopularity of both Leaders and another hung parliament. www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/labour-general-election-majority-poll-john-curtice-corbyn-a9202886.html

Rob
But crucially before any of us knew that free broadband was going to be on offer. It just might be enough to swing my vote, aligned with a massive compensation pay out for BT shares.
But on what evidence was available at the time, I reckon that Sir John, a true son of Cornwall, made a thoroughly accurate assessment of Jezza's chances. It's several decades since I was offered and accepted a lift to a General Election event by Sir John's parents. His dear old Mum (Mildred) was a Liberal Party local councillor, and given his long standing favour with the BBC, my guess is that he'll be one person among many in the BBC TV studios on Election night, hoping to see Fuhrer Swinson's Party do well.

Floridagull That's a major reason why The Left want as many people under that age to be voting as possible. Cut short your 16th Birthday Party and you and your mates head to the Polling Station. And you can be certain Britain's schools, jam full of Corbynista indoctrinators 'teachers', will have explained that Corbyn and McDonnell possess a money tree that is twice the size of anything Boris claims to have, so not only will you enjoy totally free Jezzband wifi all your life, but more free time to use it as well, as you'll only need to work 4 days a week when you grow up, but only if you vote to have the red flag flying over 10 Downing Street.

JEZZA, RIDING FOR A FALL !Dear old Jezza, he's going to have to come up with a sack load of more free stuff, if he's hoping to hoist the red flag over Downing Street. There's weeks to go, free wifi, and a promise to kick down the boardroom door and bundle TUST inside, is still a little way short of ensuring my vote. And as for threatening me with more trips to the dentist ... c'mon Jezza you can do better.
But as has been pointed out numerous times, and is patently borne out even across our own TUFC forums and fans representative organisations, Labour has left it's old working class support far, far behind, and is now so engrossed with the politically correct stuff so beloved by those it now draws its support from, the middle class, that it's going to struggle to find the votes.
Abandoning it's traditional roots, in favour of picking up votes in the trendy coffee bars. It'll only get you so far, particularly if you then have to share that anti-democratic section of the electorate with Swinson's LibDems.
The young and the old can see through the free Jezzband offer, and there just aren't enough well heeled Leftists, or postal voters, to carry you on a red tide all the way to No.10. Not getting the vote for that new swathe of indoctrinated 16 year olds was another blow, and might mean we've no Lady Nugee (Emily Thornbury) Diane Abbott, or Rebecca Wrong-Daily to preside over the country after December 12th.
The Sunday papers and the polls don't make good reading, Jezza. You've got the middle class Left but little else. It'll be a Russian backed BoJo Government for us unless you think of something quick

Potential PM debate tonight at 8pm on ITV. Johnson v Corbyn only.
The thing with Polls at the moment although there is a wide ranging conservative lead from 6 to 16 points, individual pollsters are giving fairly consistent results due to the criteria they are applying in respect of anticipated turnout and likelihood to vote of the various sub groups and best to look at the trend of these pollsters over time as we don’t know what will actually happen on 12 December.
Worth checking in on UK Polling Report and Electoral Calculus to get a feel for what polling is telling us.

I'm just watching Crazy Woman Swinson, who says that she would revoke Article 50 the day after becoming Prime Minister. She would also use nuclear weapons.
Thankfully, there is more chance of my swimming around the world, or becoming the next Dalai Lama.

Am guessing you will have spotted who kept trying to swerve the question about their personal integrity earlier, Stewart. I’ve decided to miss out on Sturgeon on there for now.

Of course I did, because he doesn't have any. Of all people who have come forward to lead Brexit (I hate that word), it had to be that self-seeking buffoon. Sturgeon bores me stiff, she looks like a character out of Planet of the Apes, and would have been well advised to leave the interview to Ian Blackford who, whatever your view on Scotland's position, comes across as a decent guy who always speaks from the heart. Farage, as always, answered his questions directly and with no ambiguity. The problem with his party is they will have very few policies to offer after the election, as was made clear when he was asked about his personal contribution to climate change. I still believe that he is the most genuine of those who appeared on TV tonight, and he is spot on about the outdated and worthless institution of the House of Lords. As for the Green Party woman, whose name I can't remember, did she really say that they will spend (presumably borrow) £100 billion to fulfill their ambitions, when there are so many people now living on the streets who, at least for as long as they are in that predicament, couldn't give a toss about cleaning up the atmosphere. Who the hell should I vote for in three weeks' time? Is there an extremely silly candidate in the Torbay constituency? Where is Tarquin Fin Tim Lin Bus Stop Biscuit Barrel in my hour of need?

He has a successful proven electoral strategy of lying and he is unlikely to change that. For the ones that are proven lies after victory he cares not. For the ones left unchallenged, he is not bothered. And why should someone like him bother when it gets him the main thing he wants - electoral success. boris-johnson-lies.com/
