According to the BBC, Jamie Reid converts the penalty with a . That's how to take a penalty; a good no-nonsense full stop is far better than trying a clever semi-colon or question mark.
Amazed no matches have been postponed. It's done nothing but pish doon up here for the last 2 or 3 days and the bloke across the road had to call the fire brigade to pump his house out this morning.

The commentary wasn’t great for the penalty but apparently their keeper got something on it but was unable to full(y)stop it so more of a comma I think. |
