3-3 - not a bad result. All conceded goals were from dead ball situations so tinged with a bit of regret that we could have won this but better today as our passing game seemed to be working better if not perfectly.

Decent point.
Showed some character coming back from some kicks in the teeth.
We are good enough to score goals at this level.
Our back four is probably not good enough if we want to be nearer the top than the middle of the table.
Won one drawn one lost one not a bad start.
Hope that we have done enough to build some confidence now. Feared the worst with that horror start. Good sign that we can battle back in adversity and not fold under pressure.

Difficult conditions on a plastic pitch against a fancied team though I see the blame game is kicking off on the other site.. Got to be happy with that result and sitting in mid table exactly where I thought and hoped we would be. Worrying that we already have the worst defensive record conceding seven goals already so we and GJ know exactly where we need to improve. All pointing to an entertaining season ahead.

Agreed Pete and it’s an old cliche that the season is a marathon not a Sprint and just because we are in the middle of the pack at the 1 mile stage does not mean anything as to where we will eventually finish and it is easy to get caught up with an immediate reaction and not see the bigger picture. I think Davis will help once he is back and Covolan may give Johnson another option. Overall, plenty to take encouragement from and looks like our manager is starting to “sort it out!”

I haven't got a bloody clue how this match will pan out, but one thing I do know...I'm not putting any money on us! Football is like golf, if you can't see a fall or rise in the green, then in all likelihood there isn't one!

I think Gary was a lot happier with that performance as big improvement from Tuesday but obviously highlighted we needed to be more efficient in both penalty boxes. Watched the highlights earlier and two good goals from open play with Andrews being the pick of them today, lovely control after good work from Kalala to provide a pin point deep cross. Think Shaun will be disappointed from the corner and even with the wind should have done better as was under no pressure at the time.
