I think this is the most eagerly anticipated fixture of the season especially since the new year when it became obvious that the championship was between ourselves and Woking with this set out to be a pivotable fixture. To some extent, our good run coupled with a few slips from Woking which has seen us pull clear, has given us some breathing space and reduces the importance of this game to us slightly. Nevertheless, it will be played in front of a sold-out away section and a win for us means we just need two more points or Woking to drop them to confirm us as champions sometime over the last four games. Good preview on dot com HereHopefully not too many idiots will be going with the club emphasising entering onto the pitch is a criminal offence and the smoke is no joke campaign link

There will be no shortage of idiots I'm afraid! Pitch invasions are a sure bet and pyro's will be taken. There's a Facebook group of Torquay fans that organise the wigs and pyro's, the bloke that sells them is called Barton. They put their match day photos on there, organise their stuff and organise other things, search for Luke pako Barton and you will find the group and the names of the Torquay hooligans.

link - Devon Live reporting that Johnson has asked for good behaviour from fans! I posted yesterday on how our support has really spurred the players on this season but it is probably not totally a coincidence that those games where a minority have kicked off that our results have been poor. Let the players focus on the pitch and not on the few knob-heads off it; they are not fans! There will be enough shenanigans from the Woking players to contend with as it is! On a brighter front looks like Jannah and Sendles-White are fit and there is a good chance that Hall will be. Even if he doesn’t make it, very handy replacement in Andrews who came on and scored on Tuesday. Niate likely to start going on Johnson’s past selection policy.

Well today is the day and I am confident we will win this game. I posted 2 weeks ago on Torquayfans.com when we were 2nd in the table 1 point behind Woking, that the Woking game would not have the significance we were giving it at that time as by the time we visited Woking we would be 8 points ahead. Well I was one point out, but I went on to say we would beat Woking to stretch our lead at the top to 11 points, so I am completely happy to end the day 10 points ahead and still be one point out. Wealdstone to progress through the play-offs. It is so nice to see smiling faces at Plainmoor after so much misery in recent yeaars. I would vote for it to be Sir Gary in the New Year honours list!

I hope your right Stefano. While we couldn't possibly have hoped to be in a better position going into this game Woking will believe this is the last chance saloon to finish top and will be well up for it. Defeat wouldn't be a disaster for us but defeat for the home side would end their chances and condemn them to the play offs. Feel certain GJ will have left no stone un-turned regards preparation, his preparation of the squad has been impeccable since his arrival and so tactically astute we wont be playing for a draw. This will be end to end stuff with plenty of adrenaline pumping so I hope we keep our heads on the pitch and in the stands. I don't think GJ will change things to much team wise from midweek though Asa Hall has to be a doubt. I see the same starting line up with possibly Jake Andrews, who looked sharp on Tuesday, in for Hall unless he makes it of course. Janneh possibly on the bench after Ruari's superb effort in midweek. It's and edge of the seat listen on the web today for me - hope those attending have a great day.

After early Woking pressure Reid hits the post but then Woking counter and score after United hesitate while looking for a foul.

Woking only being able to maintain their lead for 60 seconds could well deflate them. No sooner do they think they might be better than us, that we instantly correct them. I also hear that the Ref is James Durkin. My personal opinion is that Durkin Jnr is far from impressive, based on his officiating at Plainmoor. Sounds as if Woking Football Club have allowed spectators to enter their premises with flares. Very lax, to the extent that you wonder what their Safety Advisory Group are playing at.
