rjdgull Four cards for the Cards  .....which could well indicate the way they're approaching things. Their Manager was at Plainmoor to witness Tuesday's stunning display and our comprehensive defeat of Chelmsford. It's unlikely that he concluded that the best option was to try to 'out football' us today, given what he'd just witnessed. A more robust approach may well have been adopted, and with several of our starting eleven having been walking wounded in any case, perhaps it's no surprise it's paying dividends for them at the break. A half time GJ battle cry, and an exhibition of our fighting spirit in the second half (hopefully not on the terraces as well) and we may still avoid coming away empty handed. Durkin Jnr could still play a big part in this. |
