That said - you never know. Osborne’s promotion budget will have kicked in off-field at TQ1 and the feelgoid factor may have returned for all as we contemplate our move into a multi-million pound complex in 2020 as a Football League side once more... Must confess to being a tad worried on the stadium front, can't seem to see any planning applications, architects drawings, vision statments with plans etc. If someone could send me the link, I'd be grateful.... Can send you a few links to ones in Reading, MK, Swindon etc if you like.

Their forward basically manufactured that foul. Right result in the end though and two good poachers goals from Kane.

I must admit, I thought England didn't stand a chance in this competition...but well done to them for winning it! The euphoria that's going on at the moment is well justified for a team that has won the World Cup!
Just one question though...how the bloody hell did a team like Panama get in the final!?
#Message to Jon...what's Mothing? Top of the page...rolling things?

HUMBLED HUN HEAD HOME !
Angela Merkel, Kraftwerk, Sebastian Vettel.....your boys took one hell of a beating ! An absorbing game this afternoon, and it has to be said, thanks to VAR for ensuring that a couple of decisions were correct, the plucky South Koreans did their part in sending the Germans off to the sunbeds and their Summer holidays far earlier than they'd expected. Possibly the worst haircut at the World Cup, yet what a competent goalkeeper the South Koreans have. His opposite number Neuer joined the outfield players in the later stages and made rather a hash of it. Time to build a new squad, as it's clear that just like Merkel herself, it's time for some to leave the world stage, and let some new blood come through. (Above) Pick that one out Neuer. The 2018 World Cup Tournament slips away from Germany. (Above) Dire Deutschland's Disastrous Day. The Ref blows the whistle on Germany's participation at Russia 2018.

Surely England's best chance of progressing to the semi final now means losing to Belgium and setting up a potential quarter final against Sweden or Switzerland.

Surely England's best chance of progressing to the semi final now means losing to Belgium and setting up a potential quarter final against Sweden or Switzerland. I don't think so. We should play to win every game. Losing to Belgium would deflate the England team, and inspire our last-16 opponents, who will smell their own chance to play one of the Sw's in the quarters. Nothing inspires confidence better than a run of winning games, and so doing would see us lift the trophy! Heard, NINE changes for tonight.

Russia v Spain Spain were awful in the last third as was the spectacle - no ambition whatsoever and one dimensional and deserved what they got. Russian tactics and discipline spot on and played the only way possible where they would have any chance to get through. Gary Owers take note! Good for the tournament that Russia got to progress though I doubt they will go any further but you never know. Spain and Germany gone makes it even easier for us,. The perfect scenario ....

The Medical Council are ecstatic today...they have finally found a cure for insomnia...watch an England match! In truth, I only watched BBC texts (if that's what it's called) because I was busy rolling Namgyalma mantras for my dogs! Somewhere down the line, England are going to play a good team, (no offence to Panama or Columbia) which will make The Alamo look like a garden party!

Reg
It could be that the all powerful triumvirate required to maintain order in the unruly TFF Matchroom section may well agree with you Reg. As the Colombia match thread has been culled entirely.
