Almost a year to the day.
The pressure and abuse was starting to get out of hand and would have deteriorated even further if it was left to continue unfair on all parties.
He did all he could but lacked a key to unlock the door to scoring goals.
At least hes been honest and realises that for the benefit of the club, supporters and himself its the best course to take.
I wish him well.
