Am I right in thinking that we have 6 players under contract? Lathrope, Chaney, Keating, Young, McGinty and Gosling?

then any sensible owner would reconsider their plans....; The problem is that it is not known whether that would be good or bad news for the fans who at the end of the day want a professional football team to support. GI plans are not particularly clear beyond obtaining the freehold of the ground and with their history have very little goodwill with which to motivate the fanbase and increase those revenue streams.

Wouldn't hurt for Nico to unveil another useful signing before the Second Phase concludes on Friday 16th. But weighed against that, there needs to be a reasonably severe financial punishment for those not demonstrating proper loyalty to King Kev, i.e those having not signed up within the time period designated to Phase One.
Being allowed a second bite at the cherry for only an extra £25 is a bit over generous in my view, but I bow to Clarke's greater financial expertise.

GI not showing much inspiration thus far! Even the platitudes are looking thin.

Didn't think I missed anyone but it was so low doubted myself! Up to 7 now with Anderson signing. I am happy with him although he was in a group of players in the maybe category. link

A better third choice centre back than Gerring. If Gowling signs, then that side of things will be nicely covered as far as I see it. If he is first choice centre back, I would be underwhelmed.
We now have subs for our 5 a side team. Rush goalie.

We just signed Jon-Paul Pittman 30 year old forward. Very quick apparently with good goal scoring record.

Gowling and Pittman onboard both proven at this level and above - coming along nicely - patience is key.

King Kev brings in right back Ryan Higgins who turned 23 last month. Kev should know a decent full back when he sees one, or at least recognise the potential for development. A good squad really starting to take shape now, as a fitting reward for loyal season ticket holders . #climbingwithclarke #misguidedmilitantmisery

Synonymous with Mike Harding, Child Sex Gangs, and the Coop.......now we'll also think 'Brendan Moore' when we hear the town of Rochdale mentioned.
No shortage of natural ability, and with a good standard of goalkeeping coaching Brendan is well worth a gamble. Rochdale finished the season only 4 points short of a League One play off spot last season. Plenty of other clubs in the area to either keep tabs on his stunning progress, or to allow a loan move if the breakthrough to the first team doesn't materialise. A couple of weak spots to work on, but some exceptionally impressive strong points mean Brendan fully deserves the chance to try his luck further up the ladder. Another good example and useful inspiration to players, that an initial move down to us can help you bounce back up, as Nathan Blissett and others have shown.
As the #climbingwithclarke project is only really now getting under way, we will, in future, hopefully see players be able to make the progress they want while also staying on the books of Torquay United. Fingers crossed the Local Council will indicate they share that view.
